We hired Aldape a few years back after previous lawyers didn’t help at all. He has truly been an amazing lawyer and helped my husband get primary custody of his son amongst other things. Bernie is smart, kind, and aggressive in court. He got us everything my husband was asking for. We are truly grateful for everything he and his staff have done for us. They answered in a timely manner all of our calls and messages and always kept us informed of everything that was going on. I would 100% recommend this law firm to anybody looking for a lawyer, be it criminal or family cases

Absolutely terrible! Do not waste your time or money! He doesn’t care about his clients all he cares about is to drain your money

Mr. Aldape represented me for over two years in my divorce case, and although he is a personable guy and someone you wouldn’t mind having a few beers with, his representation was lacking and very similar to most other poor quality attorneys. Don’t let the fact that he’s also a judge fool you into thinking that he’s actually an effective attorney. If you’re looking for aggressive and responsive representation, you better look elsewhere. I never felt like Bernie really cared about my case, and he even said as much in citing “other priorities” as the reason calls and messages weren’t returned. In the end, I was left hanging, closing out needed paperwork on my own, and told that I needed to “assert myself”. There’s no way I could recommend a guy like this, and there’s more to say but I’m trying to not get nasty.

Hey the good attorney

I hired attorney Bernardo Aldape after self representing my self. Many attorneys didn’t want to take my case because of that and the short time to prep for trial. I made lots of mistakes and my exhibits were not being accepted and needed experience helped fast. He was kind since the first interaction and gave me his honest opinion on my case. Without him I would have lost my custody trial, with less than 8 days to prep he did an amazing job and was able to correct all my errors and win the case for me. It played out just as he said it would, and made the opposing counsel look like a rookie. He is really good at trial, he told me since day one many attorneys try to solve everything in mediation to not go to trial. But he said he was good at trial and enjoyed it. And it was very true. I noticed in trial you have to be a quick thinker and the legal mind to fix my mistakes. I highly recommend attorney Aldape, he won this case for me. And if you need a trial lawyer he was great for me. I’m sure he would be for you too. I wouldn’t recommend self representing, although I had other legal advice to help me self represent. It was clearly a big mistake in my case. Go with a pro! And Attorney Aldape is really good!
