I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received from the lady who answered the phone. Unfortunately, she was both rude and unprofessional in her manner. When I asked her how many years of experience the lawyer who is booking me has, she responded by telling me it would be better for me to call somewhere else. Instead of addressing my question or providing me with the information I was seeking, she abruptly hung up the phone on me. I find this level of professionalism unacceptable and concerning, as it suggests a lack of commitment to providing quality service to clients. I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and take steps to address this issue. As someone who has been considering working with your firm, I am disappointed to see that this kind of behavior is tolerated. I hope that someone from your firm will take notice of this and take steps to improve the customer service experience.

This review is "solely" based on my interaction with my attorney and her assistance. I did not have a lot of knowledge going into this case. Ive never had a lawyer, did not know where to start, how to start. I just started researching. I came across GJ Chavez and spoke with Catherine Hensley. I liked her kind heart and her willingness to help, or so I thought. I did not have loads of cash at my disposal, bouncing back from multiple lay offs from COVID. I made sure to explain it as thoroughly as I could but making sure I gave a realistic view of where I was at that time. Catherine understood made me feel welcomed. About 2 to 3 weeks in I stopped hearing from Catherine. Her assistant Juanita took over. The first few times I'd call Juanita would say Catherine was unavailable and couldnt take my call but she sent Catherine a message and by the end of the day Catherine would call. End of the day would come, no call. Id call back the next day and would get the same response. Id call the following day Juanita would say the same thing, when I showed how frustrated I was, Juanita would say i just sent a message to Catherine she read it but isnt responding. It was the same story with the email. I emailed both my attorney and Juanita, guess what?? Noooooooo response. Never knew i was going to trial until a week before. This being after alll my emails and calls for more than 8 weeks maybe even longer of no communication. Trial came and there was no preparation, i remember answering questions the night before. Some evidence presented at trial i had never seen before and the other lawyer said he had sent it all over. It was a complete disaster. Following trial im emailing calling no response. More reasons given by Juanita as to why Catherine cant respond cant call etc. So a week and half ago i get an email from Juanita requesting for my withholding information. I respond asap and ask whats going on, is there an update? Guess what no response. It took me 2 almost 3 days to get my lawyer on the phone. The results were in mid April i didnt find out till May. Catherine debriefed me briefly, call didnt even last 20 minutes. Left me so confused. Didnt send me the orders from the judge nothing. So, of course i call back, Juanita does her usual shes not available shell call you back but let me add you to her calendar. I call back and guess what im not on the calendar, so the front office clerk adds me to Catherines calendar. I called Catherine the day of our scheudle call, it took over 6 calls, two hang ups and one sweet man from the billing department to get me over to Catherine. I ask for the orders gave her feedback again on Juanita and how diffcult it is to reach her. She said she had no idea other clients have been complaining too. I ask for the orders i get them and you guessed it, Catherine left out quite a bit try the whole order. I send an email and i am still waiting to hear back. I was also told Daniel would call me and im still waiting. Child custody cases are hard but they're even harder when you put your trust in your representation and that representation doesn't have your best interests at heart.

⭐⭐☆☆☆ I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this law firm, and specifically with attorney Catherine Hensley. While she was polite, she was also the most unresponsive attorney I have ever dealt with. The entire firm was unresponsive, making it nearly impossible to get any meaningful progress on my case. If you're considering hiring this firm for anything important, I would seriously reconsider. It took ages to even get a reply, let alone actual results. I can't recommend them based on my experience.

I can’t say enough about Daniel. He has represented me through my darkest times and 100% helped me through it. Not only is he a great attorney but ultimately became a friend. Thank you again and would give 10 stars if I could.

Daniel really took care of my tickets and made the whole process super easy for me. If it wasn’t for him, I’d still probably have a warrant out for some dumb ticket that Plano messed up the paperwork. He made everything extremely understandable and updated me every step of the way. I couldn’t ask for more and I’d absolutely recommend him to everyone I know.

Daniel Chavez is an outstanding attorney, he is extremely thorough and handled my family law case with close detail and made sure I was able to accomplish what we needed in my delicate case. His office is so easy to work with and I would highly recommend anyone looking for conservatorship guidance to contact their office, I was referred to him after talking to a few other attorneys about my unique case, and he was able to represent me from across the state which I really appreciated.

Retained services to file a couple nondisclosures. It took longer than expected, but it was not their fault- Dallas county was changing software platforms, which created delays and some confusion with pending cases. I would have liked an email or phone call update a little more frequently over the course of ten months, but in the end, the matter was taken care of and happy with the results.

Genuine, professional and upfront about the entire process. Made sure I understood everything I was dealing with and answered any question I could possibly have. Thank you for everything and making the entire process easier than I could have ever imagined.
