I went to this lawyer as he was recommend to me. I had explained my situation to him as i been to court only once before. There were issues from the first hearing that I explained to him. I was being force from my home by a temporary order that I had never attended and had no lawyer present. I asked this lawyer if should really move out or stay where I was. His reponse was we will file an amendment and ask for a new court date. After reviewing my file, he believed I would not have to leave my residence and told me in an email to stay where i was. Again listening to his advice. He filed his new motion with the court. We went to court. The judge refused to hear his motion. The lawyer argued or spoke very little on my behalf during the trial. The judge refused to hear anything on my behalf. The judge found me in contempt. The lawyer asked if I would say if I would apolgize that the judge may not have me go to jail. The laywer never came back. He just left the court house and left me there. I had very little contact with him after that for a couple of weeks. When I decided to release him and go and pick up my files, He told me I lied to him that I had appeared this judge's court . I repeated I never had seen or heard of this judge until I went to court with this lawyer. You are paying good money to have the lawyer to defend you and then he tells you he doesn't believe you when you are telling him the truth. The worst thing was he never checked the court records to check to see that I was telling the truth which was very easy for him to do. After my experience, I could not recommend this lawyer.
