The staff at Law Office of Sharon Easley are nothing short of absolutely amazing. Sonya Jackson and team navigated our complex custody case with total professionalism and expertise to get the results we needed. They gave us 110% every step of the way. They communicated quickly and clearly, and always acted in our best interests; they helped us understand the messy process that is family court, offered options and alternatives, and made sure we always knew what was happening. They were cost-effective and efficient, which we tremendously appreciated. There was never an unanswered question or an unaddressed concern. When I say they were all over our case, they were ALL over it. It couldn’t have been in better hands. Our case in particular was full of challenges, including multi-state jurisdiction issues, improperly handled former filings, a range of problems with the opposing parent (such as alcohol abuse, neglect, domestic violence, repeated perjury and contempt, etc), and perhaps the most unprofessional, difficult, and unpleasant opposing counsel that could exist- but they handled each of the challenges like total pros. This process, and our outcome, would have been totally impossible without them. Not only that, but I’m convinced we’d still be in this process if it wasn’t for this team. Constant pressure on the case and attention to detail really pushed this through. What we expected (a long, insanely expensive and emotionally-draining process) was very much mitigated by working with Sonya and Sharon. In addition, we can’t even begin to describe all the ways this team went far above and beyond for us- I am positive there isn’t another group that would done for us what these ladies have. I’ve worked with many attorneys in a professional capacity, and we had previously used two other family court attorneys for similar custody issues in the past; these are by far two of the best I’ve met, and we would never use anyone else again. We would highly, highly recommend this group to anyone battling custody issues or family court matters. We are so thankful that we found them!

Sonya saved me in more ways than I can count. She was my THIRD lawyer, in a case that should have been simple and straightforward, yet was anything but, due to the high conflict, gas-light loving personality of my ex. Getting him to follow even temp orders became so exhausting, and my previous representation did little to find the depth and volume of his deceptions, adding much unnecessary time and exhaustion to the discovery process, and the entire case. Sonya created more movement in my case during the first month she came on than my previous lawyers had in nearly 2 years. I was not just a number to her, I was a human being. In many professions where there is extreme emotion, intense fear, frustration- there comes a point where despite the reason one gets into the profession they chose, they must learn to disconnect to an extent- in order to be successful and effective in their career. It’s inevitable, and necessary. Unfortunately, this can make one seem dehumanized, especially in the field of law. I have no doubt that Sonya has a very successful career and reputation that will only continue to thrive in the future. And while necessary, I instinctly believe she is the Rare Breed Attorney who never disconnects more than necessary, and hangs on to that part inside her- the part that made her care as much as she did for me when no one else would, and got me through the darkest time in my entire life. Sonya went above and beyond in advocating for me multiple times, has the investigative skills of an FBI spy, and refused to relent until all the lies were flipped upside down, the hidden truths were revealed, and justice finally reached. If I had not found her, I don’t know if I could’ve gone through one more person, faced one more disappointing realization that I was merely a check to them. She was the only lawyer who actually prioritized accountability for my ex, relieving me of much stress I had been carrying for 2 years. Don’t let her sweet southern demeanor fool you into thinking she’s not a savage in the courtroom, or one to be challenged without substance. Sonya not only saved my sanity and helped me end this nightmare of a chapter in my life… but she restored my faith in humanity, and belief that some people ARE truly, inherently good, and do intensely care about justice and healing. I advocate her with more stars than are possible to give- and strongly recommend her, especially if trust is hard to earn with you, or if you have been grossly disappointed by the indifference of others. Sonya is a rare gem I was SO lucky and blessed to find. Thank God for her. It's because of her I have a chance to rebuild a new life again, and the capacity to do so.

My husbands case was in the process of being denied due to urgent request for additional evidence so we quickly made an appointment with Liset at the Lefebvre Law Firm. They worked quickly and within a week the additional evidence was sent. My petition was approved without an interview in less than 3 weeks. We are beyond thrilled that she was able to work within the 30 day deadline with a very positive outcome.
