Rachel Li is a terrific lawyer. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, tough, effective, and compassionate advocate. I came to Rachel a couple of years ago and only wish she had been representing me all along. She helped me through a very tough legal process and salvaged my chances to have a positive relationship with my children. The mother of my children was engaged in a full out alienation campaign against me, fabricating allegations directed at both me and my extended family. For more than a decade, I watched judges say, "how could a mother make that up?" Rachel came to court extremely well-prepared. In her original appearance in my case, she won the first favorable judgement I had ever received. But it is not just in a courtroom that Rachel shines. In fact, that is the last resort. Rachel demonstrated an understanding of the law to the nth degree, stayed very focused on the best interests of the children, and fiercely represented my interests to co-parent them. She was able to offer terrific options for reunification counseling, outside reading to help me understand the factors in play, and a communication vehicle with the children's mother. Upon occasion, Rachel did not pull any punches with me and things I needed to work on as well. I appreciated her refreshing candor. Rachel's strength extends through the members of her team who are also very experienced and thorough. Her paralegal, Trechel, is particularly impressive.
