Divorce and child custody issues is not an easy process, but Sharita and Desiree are hidden gems in the DFW metroplex. Sharita’s pleasant demeanor and candor is something I valued from my initial consultations. Pricing and policies during the initial intake process sets expectations from the beginning for the lawyer and client relationship. The firm accommodates remote and virtual meetings which is an efficient use of time and resources. Desiree responds timely to any concerns you bring up. I have admired in Desiree her honesty and support. She always presents you with options (if available) and empowers the client to make the decision that is in their best interest. Never once have I felt obligated to do something because “my lawyer told me so.” Rather she discusses even difficult subjects with respect and openness. Desiree is thorough and detail oriented. She is not last minute when preparing for cases that may go to trial. What I have valued is that I was not just her client but truly appreciative of the open collaboration. Finally, Desiree is respectful both “on and off the field”- in front of the judge, when interacting with opposing counsel(s), and all parties involved. COMPLETELY UNJUST ATTORNEY!!! Just taking money from Dallas County... Ms Blacknall was assigned to my appeal. Rather than actually arguing the appeal (the trial attorney listed 3 appeal-able rulings) and actually speaking with the trial attorney or me (her client), she filed a brief stating I had no standing for an appeal. IMO, Ms Blacknal is taking cases from Dallas County, making a quick buck, and refuses to argue the appeals.
