I had a tough case that Doug and I took to trial. Doug fought for me at each phase of the process, from beginning to end and did not let me misunderstand any part of what was occurring in the court. He made me feel safe from the prosecutor's ferocious and at times inaccurate telling of what occurred leading to the arrest. The outcome was one I wanted compared to the spending any time in jail. Getting Mr. Wilder to represent me in my first ever dwi case was the best decision I could have ever made. As soon as I contacted them they guided me through each step of the way. I was about to loose my job and Doug made sure I didnt by getting me a Ocupational license to be able to work. I am so glad that I found Doug to represent me in my DWI case. I was going through a rough patch and ended up with 3 DWIs in 3 years. Facing mandatory jail time, Doug took my case and steered me through a laborious process including taking repeat offenders courses, attending AA meetings, performing community service and journaling daily, all before we went to court. I followed his advice and the result was incredible! He negotiated my 3rd DWI down to a 1st with NO jail time. This allowed me to continue living my life while on probation. Doug has been great as a lawyer in the courtroom. I read a previous review that stated him having you do things before trial not working, but that was not my experience everything he had me do beforehand was effective towards my plea deal. If you follow his advice based on the years spent working in the DFW he will get you the best legal assistance you can ask for.
