Todd Shapiro, hands down is the premier offensive attorney to hire to defend the rights of the innocent. In 1895, the presumption of innocence legal principle was enacted establishing the innocence of persons accused of crimes until proven otherwise in a court of law; which is the opposite system of a presumption of guilt. Should anyone fall victim to false accusations. 1) Take deep breaths 2) Do not be overwhelmed by the weight of the legal system. Then consult Todd and Peter, they are the premier advocates for the unjustly accused.

My friend was charged with aggravated robbery with a firearm in Dallas County Court, it was a Class A Felony. My husband went to Todd Shapiro a few years ago with help for a DWI, he completely bailed on him the day of his court date and had some random attorney who my husband had never met before to tell him to plead guilty. They basically railroaded him and coerced him into plead guilty.

Be warned, these guys are very unethical. I went with my GF to see about hiring Todd Shapiro to defend her from a baseless felony charge in Collin County. Todd presented a worse-case scenario and so we agreed to hire him initially. He requested $10k, which I paid via my credit card. My GF never signed an engagement letter or any contract with Todd. Within days, we found out that the charge had been dismissed, however when we contacted Todd in order to get our money back, he refused to discuss the matter. My credit card company reversed the charge, however after Todd sent a threatening letter to them, the re-instated the charge. So bottom line is that I am out $10k and Todd worked less than 4 hours in total. DO NOT USE SHAPIRO unless you want to get ripped off.
