Peter Ganyard of the Ganyard Law firm is a fabulous lawyer. He literally saved me and mother from the poor legal advice of the very stereotypically pompous, rude, condescending, arrogant, haughty, patronizing, and ill-informed Todd Shapiro (who I believe is Peter’s assistant, judging by his incredibly rude behavior and lack of knowledge). Thankfully, Mr. Peter Ganyard is not only experienced, but also has the social skills that Todd lacks completely. My mother and I nearly walked out of our initial meeting after being disrespected and insulted repeatedly by the assistant, Todd Shapiro, but Mr. Ganyard was able to win back our trust after kicking his assistant Todd out of the room. He offered us the humility, kindness, understanding, as well as the thorough explanations/guidance, that Todd was too full of himself to provide in a respectful manner. And we are SO glad we hired Mr. Ganyard, not Todd, to represent my case. Working with Todd would have been a nightmare. I would give Mr. Peter Ganyard a full five stars, and I am only deducting one star from this review due to the incredibly unprofessional behavior of Mr. Ganyard’s socially inept, self-important assistant, Todd Shapiro. I personally think Mr. Ganyard should fire his assistant (Todd), and get someone on his level to work with him. Mr. Peter Ganyard single-handed my represented my case, and he did a fantastic job, as he was successful at rightfully proving my innocence in court. Todd — you have a lot to learn from Mr. Ganyard, and you are SO lucky he has not fired you yet. Mr. Ganyard, thank you so much for the stellar representation in spite of your assistant Todd’s flaws. My mother and I are so glad we hired you. YOUR representation was worth every penny! Finally, I want to add that the US legal system is an absolute sham, and proving your innocence should not depend on whether you have the money to hire a lawyer as good as Peter. If you don’t believe me, please read “The New Jim Crow,” by US civil rights lawyer Michelle Alexander. Prisons ARE a profit scheme in the US, and the poor are being exploited. As a history teacher, I sincerely hope we can change this terrible system so that there is one day justice for ALL, not just the rich. I know that Peter Ganyard understands the flaws of the US legal system, as we have discussed this topic at length. I see the honesty in his spirit, and I appreciate that he does not dig his head in the sand when discussing the flaws of the US legal system. Mr. Ganyard is authentic, and he tells it like it is. Mr. Ganyard, I hope you are able to use your position of power within this system to challenge its unfairness. I know you value truth and justice as much as I do. Thank you for being one of the few lawyers in the US I can sincerely vouch for and trust. I plan on spending the rest of my life in Sweden, but if I ever have a friend in legal trouble in the US, I will effusively recommend your services.

Peter Ganyard and Todd Shapiro of The Shapiro Law Firm fought tirelessly to get my DWI dismissed in a motion to suppress hearing which resulted in a complete dismissal of the charge. The knowledge and professionalism they both displayed throughout the stressful time in my life made me feel at ease. Todd was extremely helpful with my case and helped me get the best possible results! He's professional, friendly and personable. Very reasonable rate aswell. Todd is a good lawyer and I would highly recommend him. He represented me in 2021. I was indicted on 8 charges consisting of drugs and guns. He was able to get 4 of them dropped and get my time reduced from the initial offer of 15 years to 4 years. I went through 2 lawyers before Todd and they were not able to get the time reduced. I was incarcerated for 2 years and made parole. After seeing first hand other situations and outcomes I have no doubt in my mind Todd got me the best deal possible. Me and my family can now start to repair and rebuild because of Todd. Thank you

I needed to find someone to help me as a first time offender as well as from middle America (I’m talking “Dorthy, we aren’t in Kansas anymore) I inquired with Mr. Shapiro and he was so prompt with his response. After just a couple of minutes on the phone with him, I knew he was exactly who I needed to help me. He may not have always said exactly what I wanted to hear, but he did exactly what he said he would do. He kept me busy at my career and got to a resolution with zero traveling. He was exactly who I needed for what I was up against. If you are considering Mr. Shapiro or someone else… this is your sign, make the right choice like I did. WOW, if there was 10 stars , Mr.Peter Ganyard deserve that. I was charged un justice for a crime for the first time in my life. I was scared and did not know what to do. I started interviewing different attorneys . Boy i was getting disappointed and did not trust any thing they were telling me. I found Mr. Peter Ganyard and made an appointment . When i met him , he said i don`t need to proof to him that i am not guilty, he said i will represent you and i promise you that i will dismiss your case , I asked him are you sure? and he said yes i am very sure. I been a business owner and professional all my life , I heard some thing that other law firms and attorneys did not have the courage to say. I could see in his eyes that he meant it . I hired him and guess what, Promises made and promises kept. He dissed miss my case in a short time .During the process since this was my first time and i was scared, i kept calling him to get updates and this professional gentlemen never complained and i had access to his office phone and his cell phone and never was ignored and took my calls no matter what. Having been on the opposite side of a case with Howie, I was very happy he was representing the other party. Although another attorney in his office did most of the work. Howie seemed befuddled during the hearing and was repeatedly saying “This is the first I’m hearing of it judge” 😀 which was probably true but he tried to spin it as it was last minute issue being raised. I got the impression he looked at case file just before hearing for the first time. Oh and during recesses in zoom hearings he doesn’t turn mute on so he’ll blab out confidential info he thinks nobody can hear. I highly recommend him as an opposing counsel. 😀.
