I randomly chose Pope & Pena only Because Pena is my mother's maiden name and it turned out to be a great decision on my part. I live in California and ran into problem selling a parcel of land my mother purchased in MacAllen ears ago. The county records showed that my mother was the owner of the parcel and paid yearly property taxes on it for years but when we went to sell it we couldn't because my mother never sighned the deed and returned it to the county records. With no deed on record we could not sell the parcel and No one at the city, county, or state of Texas could help me resolve the problem. After countless hours on the phone with city,county, and state. I contacted Pope and Pena. Although it took over a year and a half do to Covid, we got every thing in order and recently sold the parcel. POPE AND PENA went above and beyond the call of duty to make this happen and I realized I could not have chosen a better firm to help me on this matter and can't say enough good thing about their consistent professionalism and patience in helping my mother generate and record a physical deed so we could finally sell it.
