I won’t bore you with the details of my case but the fact that I needed them and got all the help I did excites me to the moon! Dealings with lawyers and settlements and hassles of court would seem to take forever but not in my case. Things were handled professionally and as quickly as I never could have thought possible. My settlement was more than fair and my expectations were met with smiles and endless gratitude. If I ever need another lawyer I will be calling Vernon Elkins and his office again. I had a very difficult and up-hill battle custody case. My first lawyer was not supportive and it felt like she was not on my side. I consulted with several lawyers and ultimately decided to go with Cheryl, from the Carlson Law Firm. She was always honest and straightforward with me, which I appreciated. Cheryl always remained professional, even when I wasn’t. Custody situations can be frustrating and emotional because they have to do with the most important people in our lives, our children. My custody case took about 3 years to finally finish, absolutely no fault of Cheryl’s. I am so grateful she was willing to stick it out with me for all those years. I truly believe, if it wasn’t for her, things would have turned out much differently and my children would not be in a safe and supporting environment right now. I owe her everything. I am grateful of her and my children are grateful of her. In fact, once everything was finalized and she wanted to close my case and account, I asked her to please remain as my lawyer for future issues that I see potentially arising. If you are dealing with a difficult custody situation and you want someone that cares about you, your children and your case, then you should hire her immediately.

Very horrible experience. Hired a attorney for 6 months, no court date, wasn’t seeing my girls on my court order, no legal action was taken, and was told the person who was suppose to be my attorney, is looking for a monitor for the other parent I’m fighting against. Everyone told me I am being taken advantage of and more then half my trust is gone. I have to contact the court clerks multiple times because I don’t know nothing going on with my case, the worst attorney ever, do not waste your time, they charge hundreds of dollars just for small emails and phone calls saying the same things. Don’t hire anyone from them, no legal action was ever taken and my attorney was working for the other parents attorney, she doesn’t care, Cheryl Powell

I highly recommend The Carlson Law Firm. I have never seeked an attorney for an accident until I was hit by an 18-wheeler. Jaime Lynn was my attorney and Amanda was the legal assistant I worked with and both were thorough, professional and responsive. They fought for a fair settlement and I’m sure it was a lot more than I would have received if I hadn’t gone to Carlson.

I would highly recommend using attorney Cheryl Powell & Valeria as they greatly helped with legal paperwork I needed. The process was quick, efficient, and straight forward. I have used other firms in the past who came no where near the original budget. Cheryl was upfront about everything and finished everything for 75% of the original retainer.
