Mr. Magee and his staff are the best firm in the state of Texas. They are always VERY prepared and professional. Mr. Magee is a fighter and will do anything to get your case taken care of. His staff was always respectful and prompt in their responsive.

Scott was recommended to me by a friend and former county prosecutor, now criminal defense attorney, in another city. He said of Scott, "I hated going up against him." I knew he was a good attorney on that recommendation. But there is more than just legal skills that makes Scott very good at what he does. Scott did provide me with excellent legal counsel and implemented what I can only describe as an extremely thorough defense strategy. More than this though, he was always reachable, candid, displayed true empathy for my situation and was very open regarding the strategy while accepting my input. The charge I faced was very humbling. I had made a very grave, selfish mistake. I faced a multi-year prison term. Through Scott's excellent counsel, and in some part due to my own hard work outside of court, I received no jail time with what everyone inside and outside the legal system would consider a light sentence. I can't say enough about Scott's professionalism, capabilities and kindness. I would highly recommend him, and have done so, to anyone seeking criminal legal counsel. MR. MAGEE WAS MY COURT APPOINTED ATTORNEY AND HE IS SO AWESOME! !!! HE WASNT PAID BY ME BUT HE ALWAYS ACTED AS IF I PAID HIM A MILLION DOLLARS... My son and I were extremely impressed when we first met Scott. It was a very stressful time for both of us, and we didn't have a clue how to go about making a decision on an attorney. At our initial meeting, Scott and his assistant helped us understand the entire process. Scott's knowledge, attitude, and professionalism helped us make the initial decision to select him as my son's attorney. Over the next several weeks, our decision was confirmed many times over. Scott and his assistant are two of the most caring and professional people I have ever worked with. They calmed our fears, explained everything thoroughly, and communicated regularly with us throughout the process. My son and I had many questions, made multiple phone calls, and sent numerous emails--all were answered by either Scott or his assistant immediately. I actually received an apology for the delay in replying to one of my emails after only three hours (they had been in court all afternoon)! My son also needed an attorney on a child custody case he went through. Although Mr. Magee does not handle those type of cases he was awesome for recommending another really good attorney for the case.
