Joe has been nothing short of a blessing to me and my case. He is very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain anything that you may not understand. This is my first time I've been in a situation like this so I definitely had lots of questions! He validated my thoughts and expectations regarding my case and did what he could to fulfil my expectations. Overall I'm incredibly happy and thankful to have had him help me through this confusing and daunting experience. If you're looking for someone that actually cares about you and doesn't just see you as a dollar sign, I would definitely recommend him! 😊

Retaining Kevin Vice to represent me and my company in three suits in which I was the plaintiff was one of the worst things I ever did in my life, and RUINED the next NINE YEARS of my life. I hired Vice in July 2013, and through July 2016 paid him an enormous amount of money (I think Google doesn't allow me to include numbers) to bring three suits, one against an insurance company, one a business suit over breach of contract, theft, etc., and another for malicious prosecution. Vice intentionally dragged these out as long as he could and lied to me that a 14-month extension was what a judge ordered, when in fact he had requested this. He told me his strategy to win on one claim, that someone stole a rare item from me, was to say I had one, which is gone, and now the other person has one, as circumstantial evidence the person stole mine. I pointed out that there were two of these rare items. He replied in a hushed tone "We won't tell the jury." He wanted to win by misleading the jury. Vice in July 2016 DEMANDED I sign a non-disparage agreement and NEVER TELL ANYONE HOW BAD A LAWYER HE IS OR HE WOULD QUIT. I refused, and so he QUIT!!!!!! This was two months prior to the September 2016 trial! And I had an open Motion for Summary Judgment against me.. I had to hire another lawyer for an immense amount of money to come up to speed. All I got from Vice was: a) hundreds of long, useless, highly-billed emails, many written to monetize his Sunday mornings, b) 17 white boxes of papers, and all the brown folders of the evidence were EMPTY - he NEVER developed ANY evidence in the cases, and c) he took HORRIBLE depositions - mispronouncing technical words, knew none of the facts, and he has no skills at this. He was super friendly to the worst defendant after taking his deposition as if they had become best buddies. Scott Dilbeck proudly told me he was not going to ask ANY of the key questions I wanted for the deposition of a defendant and then ruined that deposition and so to this day I don't know a lot of things I wanted to know. I could write about Vice's sexual harassment of employees I witnessed and that he bragged to me about that destroyed his marriage but think Google won't allow it. DO NOT BELIEVE many of the 5-STAR reviews here. I am a smart person, and put my trust in Vice, Henley and Scott Dilbeck, and mailed checks to pay my bills in full the day I received them. I never asked for a reduction of any item on any bill. I took Vice flying in my plane, and went out for beers with him. In return, he never developed my cases, did terrible work, and QUIT. I was once like you, and picked them after an interview and thought they were great guys. But as time goes on, you will discover, as I did, that you picked very bad people. Pick anyone else and you will be better off. I greatly wish I had never heard of Kevin Vice or of Henley or Dilbeck and so will you. Have nothing to do with these low-life pieces of garbage.

We hired the Vice & Henley group to do work for us that required real attention to detail and a very tricky real estate situation, with basically a bitter old man that threatened to kill anyone that did any work to the property around him. The man was tough to deal with and even talk to, as he was a self proclaimed expert on EVERYTHING. Well after hiring the Vice and Henley Group we were represented by Joe. Joe came to different properties for us and was the easiest lawyer to ever get a hold of. Joe went above and beyond my expectations and represented us in the most prestige manner. Joe set real expectations and a real time frame and never shied away from the tough questions. Joe let me make all the decisions I felt were best for us but he explained every situation and option in a way we could understand. Joe gave me his professional opinion and his personal opinion on things and how they don't always line-up or agree with each other. Joe even mentioned in one meeting that whatever cross road we came to we would do the ethical and right thing, because that's what really matters at the end of the day. I was blown away with this response from a lawyer. I've only dealt with a few lawyers in my life with civil issues and this practice, mainly Joe, was exceptional and professional. I would have never expected to be treated as well as we were by Joe and the entire office staff! MY RECOMMENDATION, USE THIS PRACTICE AND ASK FOR JOE!

I paid $496,016 to this firm from July 2013 until October 2017, working with Kevin Vice on three lawsuits I brought as a Plaintiff, two being business law cases of breach of contract, fraud, theft, etc., and hiring this firm was the #1 WORST THING I EVER DID IN MY LIFE. In June 2016, after fully three years on the main case, he didn't know the most basic facts, and stated he planned to mislead the jury. He then said he would quit if I did not sign an agreement to never tell anyone how bad or good he was - he wanted a free pass that if he did a terrible job at trial, I could not tell anyone what a horrible lawyer he was. I replied I had paid every bill, in full usually the day I got it, for three years, a total $500,000, $16,000 a month for 36 months, and been a friendly great client, and thought this was unreasonable. And so he QUIT!!! This was 8 weeks before a trial!! This led to a horrendous scramble to find a new lawyer, huge costs to bring them up to speed, and delays. I am now out an ADDITIONAL $581,000 to the next lawyer, and liable for $300,000 more for Rule 167 fees, and my suits are dead! I LOST $1.3 million DUE TO HIRING THIS TERRIBLE NIGHTMARE FIRM. If you are thinking of hiring this firm, please be aware they can take your money for years, and then quit right before the trial. Astonishing, and zero integrity. I plan to file an extensive complaint with the state bar, and believe Vice's license should be revoked. I wish I never ever met any of these people, who ruined my life.
