Brad was very professional, attentive and prompt with answering questions and returning phone calls. Green flags all around for Mr. Thornton. I came here for a consultation with my father who I was trying to find a lawyer for. My father doesn’t speak good English and he was incredibly patient with us during translation. He simplified complex terminology for us to understand and gave us peace of mind. The true test to his character was when I mentioned the name of another lawyer that I had another consult with later in the day and he said “he’s a good lawyer” showed that he’s respectful even to his competitors. Hello. I found Mr Thornton on Google for my daughters case in Atascosa County which we reside in Dallas. He was so easy to work with. Him and his assistant helped me a whole lot. I strongly advise against hiring Peter Stanton if you value your time and money. My experience with him was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite his initial promises, he did absolutely nothing to advance my case. Instead, he consistently charged me exorbitant fees for minimal effort. One particularly egregious instance was when he billed me $350 for a 15-minute Zoom call. To add insult to injury, he charged an outrageous $175 to write a six-line letter, which he insisted on sending with my final check. To top it all off, he even managed to write my name wrong on the check! This attorney is a scammer and seems more interested in milking his clients for money than providing any real legal assistance. Save yourself the headache and find a competent and honest attorney elsewhere.
