We hired Kurt Gransee to defend my daughter who was charged with DUI despite several serious flaws with the charge. First and foremost, she was not driving her vehicle as noted to authorities by the store clerk who stated she had been sitting in the parking lot for over 8 hours. Hayes county also waited 22 months (pre covid) to actually charge her with this offense which greatly hampered her ability to locate witnesses that could corroborate the store clerks’ statements. Mr Gransee vigorously defended my daughter’s legal rights including the right to a speedy trial. After several hearings and the DA’s refusal to drop the charges, the judge ruled in favor of Mr. Gransee’s speedy trial motion and the charge was dropped. I have no doubt that without Mr. Gransee’s knowledge of the law, persistence, and willingness to fight the charge, my daughter would have been wrongly convicted of DUI. I would highly recommend Mr. Gransee to anyone in need of legal counsel.

I could not be more satisfied with the work Mr. Gransee did for me. He went above and beyond to get me the best deal I possibly could and it exceeded all my expectations. I was on deferred for a 2nd degree felony drug charge and I picked up a new felony drug charge.  I was facing a motion to revoke probation “mtr” for the deferred and either time or another probation for the new case. Mr. Gransee filed various motions and was able to get the new charge dismissed and I was continued on Deferred Adjudication with out-patient treatment.  I was very pleased with the outcome and I definitely recommend Mr. Gransee to anyone else with serious felony drug charges. During the highlight of my life and career I was wrongly charged with indecent exposure. Due to the nature of the allegation, and with my place of employment being with the state I was left with no employment. I met with Kurt for the first time about a week after I was charged with this terrible crime. He seemed very knowledgeable in criminal law, during the free consultation he looked skimmed through all the paperwork I was given during the arrest and booking process, he was making very detailed notes as he was going over all the paperwork. At this point I knew he was going to be the my lawyer for this case. After several pre-trial conferences and hearing dates being reset, Kurt proceeded to a suppression motion hearing. During this hearing Kurt showed confidence and experience and tore up the state's witnesses, and made a great closing argument to the judge. The case untimely was thrown out, and now this case can get expunged. In closing if anybody is charged with a crime I would recommend Mr. Kurt Gransee to represent you in court. He was always on time even when he had several cases on the same days. He always kept me informed of what type of pleas the state was trying to offer, he also informs you of his fee and policies up front, so there are no surprises.

I had never been charged with anything more than a speeding ticket in my life. I went to Rush & Gransee in search of help. I was charged with a felony for a false accusation.
