Carolyn Wentland, Did a great job for me. She knows her stuff, I would recommend her for any criminal defense cases, My case was long and drawn out, she was reassuring and confident during the whole ordeal. In my Animal cruelty case the state prosecutors pushed & pushed they wanted to impose the maximum punishment, she pushed back, to make a long story short, We Won - The case was dismissed. A pair of her clients were in court the same day with me and she has gotten a dismissal, on one case in addition to mine and was working on the third. She will fight & defend you to the best of her ability, and during a emotionally charged and chaotic situation like criminal proceedings, She is definitely someone you want in your corner.

What else can I say but Carolyn saved my life. Carolyn made me feel like everything was going to be ok from day one. She never once lost her enthusiasm for my case and made me feel like I mattered . Never once did she try to get me to plea out. She supported me and always gave me her best advice to help me make an educated decision. YOU can't go wrong with Carolyn and her team. I first called Carolyn Wentland when I was arrested for a $50-$500 theft charge.When I began calling around to numerous law offices in San Antonio, I quickly learned that no one would take the time to comprehend my situation. If they were willing to listen to me, I was to pay...I was losing hope quickly! But when I received their contact information in the mail, something told me to call them. When I did they were the ones who immediately took my phone call and listened to my situation. Not only did they listen but they took their time with me. They wanted to make sure that they got every detail and fact correctly so they could help me fight my cases. When they learned that I did not do the crime, I was only associated with the person who did, they immediately knew what the next step was to proving my innocence. I filed for an affidavit and let the state and my attorney take it from there. During this time that my theft case was open, I unfortunately picked up a DWI charge 6 months later. I thought my life was over! I am a full time college student so for me, my hope was lost. I thought I would never find a job because of the mistakes I had made. Although that was such a hard time in my life, Wentland and Garcia gave me hope and confidence that I could get through it. My DWI charge wasn't really a DWI because when I was arrested the police had found my truck parked by the curb with the engine off. The reason the police approached my vehicle was because it was facing the wrong way on a one way street in downtown San Antonio. In court the state and the judge both watched the real piece of evidence, which was the video that had been taken from the police car the night of the arrest. Roland Garcia proved to the judge and the state that I shouldn't have been arrested for the fact that my car was completely off and I was not driving when the arrest happened. After the judge looked over the video she made her decision to dismiss my DWI case. Wentland and Garcia, dismissed both of my cases!! It was much more than I could have asked for. With their determination and intelligence in the field they changed my life forever, even if they don't realize it. The next step for me is expunging these cases from my record which they will be representing me in as well. Carolyn Wentland and Roland Garcia took the time to explain to me how the judicial system worked and the amount of time that it would take to get through my cases. They were patient with any questions I had and they were extremely supportive for my family and myself. Some people say, "I was just another client for that attorney...all they did was take my money." I can honestly say that I NEVER felt this way from them. They took the time to learn who I was and they built a trusting relationship with me. And it was never about the money either. They worked with me and understood my financial situation. All together they are a great team including the staff members that work in their offices. I am more than happy with how they represented me and I will let others knows that they must contact the law offices of Carolyn Wentland before they call anyone else.

Ms. Wentland handled my case when other attorneys didn't want to. She even allowed me to have a payment plan. She was always available for any questions I had. Although my case was very serious it was entertaining to watch Ms. Wentland in court, she frustrated the prosecutors so much it was funny.

she was brilliant...she attacked the weakness of the prosecutors...deflected their pleas...and backed them in a corner, and when cornered them, she won and is worth the money...she is very able and fights diligently for her clients, and will find a way to win
