I am about 3 years late on this review. Jonathan is an excellent attorney and he works hard on all his cases. He keeps his clients well informed and when you contact him for questions or issues concerning your case he always gets back with you the same evening. His background as a highly respected and successful prosecutor is priceless. I was charged with two misdemeanor family violence causing bodily injury and he was very sure of getting both dismissed and he would gave if i wouldn't have violated the no contact order. It was mutual contact but someone reported it to the D.A.s office. Jonathan was able to keep me from jail with a plea deal of deferred adjudicated probation which i completed 2 years ago and was seen as a model probationer. I would absolutely hire Jonathan if I ever needed an attorney in the future but I am confident ill never put myself in a foolish situation again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need.

Jonathan recently helped me get a case thrown out and save my career and life! He was professional and responded to all questions and concerns as soon as I had them. He gave me a clear understanding of what would happen each step of the way. With all the covid stuff going on and recent lay off I was not able to pay the whole fee of representation up front but Jonathan was able to work out a payment plan that I could afford and still get the representation I needed! Jonathon handled my case with such professionalism. He also has a great relationship with the judges, DA and the probation officers. My probation was tough and he made it as smooth as possible. I had some issues along the way and he was always very honest and told me exactly what I needed to do to get through everything. He's got a disposition and was always there for me. When hiring an attorney, it's essential to know that they will be available when you need them. Jonathan was. I hired him for a family member and it was the best decision I could have made. Throughout the process, I was "kept in the loop." I would suggest Jonathan to anyone needing a solid, trustworthy, honest and affordable attorney.

From the start until the finish he was always available. Never leaving me out of the loop and constantly reassuring me I was making the correct decisions for me. During my case I asked him what should I do? He told me that's a decision I would have to make for myself but whichever I chose he would represent and back me. Stating the facts about who had the most to loose. Which was me so it's a decision I ultimately had to make. That assisted in my confidence and helped me choose not to take a plea. The DA offered me 7 years probation or face 5 to 10 if convicted. I knew I was innocent and went to trial after nearly three years, my case was dismissed and I know I made the best decision of hiring John Michelle.

I had a 2 marijuana drug cases opened against me and both times I was so sure I would end up getting the worst possible outcome, but I looked up NORML lawyers online and immediately called Jonathan's firm. When he helped me on my cases he was always so positive that we could beat the cases and that we could try and get me the results I wanted, and after months of court back and forth, I got what I was hoping, 1 case dropped and the other deferred probation of 6 months. I was nervous dealing with the court process but Jonathan always made me feel better with positive encouragement. He is currently and will be my only lawyer I use, If you ever need the last last lawyer you'll ever need, better call jonathan!

Jonathan defended me in a felony case where evidence and circumstances were overwhelmingly against me.
