I got referred to Jonathan and wish I would’ve known about him along time ago! He is such a genuine person and very professional at what he does! Mr. Shaeffer is a great lawyer to have in your corner. He not only got one of my cases dismissed. He got a felony dropped for me and fought the 2 to 10 jail time down to 2 yrs probation. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome thanks Tylden. I highly recommend this man.

Mr. Shaeffer defended me in an assault / bodily injury against household case where myself and another adult male family member had a physical altercation. Mr. Shaeffer pursued the facts and presented the evidence in a very professional manner. He kept me apprised of every possible outcome as the case progressed through the system and made honest recommendations. We were prepared to go to trial but my case was dismissed. I believe this was directly due to Mr. Shaeffer's diligence and persistence in following up and staying on top of developments as they happened.

I had an MTR on my probation in May 2019 and was instructed from my probation officer that I needed to either turn myself in or hire an attorney to speak with the judge. Being in County Court 6 is the most stressful courtroom in Bexar County with one of the toughest judges, and i'm sure the judge takes pride on it, but this was my first offense EVER in my entire life and I was immensely stressed. I found Jon and from our first conversation I could tell he was one of the good guys. A lawyer who became a lawyer to actually help people, not profit from them. When it was time for my walk-in court date, having Jon with me helped me stay calm. He has so much positive energy and really understood how I felt and continued to reassure me until it was our time to speak with the judge. The judge was going to give me 30 days in Bexar County jail but Jon was able to explain my situation to the judge and I expressed I would continue to stay on track with my probation. Jon got my MTR DENIED, I received NO JAIL TIME, and I was so relieved!! My mistake in all of this was not hiring Jon from the beginning. Thank you Jon, again and again. I am truly grateful for your help!

Today I received such great news in court, my case is being dismissed! All the thanks is owed to Jonathan and his team. It has been a year so far of court dates and working through the motions of getting this behind me. Jonathan has been there walking me through this from the beginning. I really like that Jonathan is such a peoples person and appears to work well with just about everybody, on every level. He spoke so well with the Prosecutors and even had good repour with the Judge presiding over my case. It truly was the best decision to retain Jonathan's Office as my council and originally I picked him based on some google reviews, so I hope this also helps someone in choosing the right lawyer. I know for me this was the BEST decision I could have made. :)

My Fiancé and I were referred to Jonathan Watkins and a few other attorneys back in May of 2018. After consulting with a few when we found Jonathan we instantly knew he was the right man for the job!! His energy, polite mannerism, and eagerness to assist immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. Jonathan did not just treat us as clients but as family!!! He treated my fiancé’s case as if he was his brother and fought tooth and nail to ensure that he was treated fairly. Never once did he go MIA like some attorneys and even with a busy schedule he made sure to stay in contact and communicate with us every step of the way. His door was ALWAYS open and we never had an issue reaching him when we needed him no matter the time of day/night. While some attorneys are money hungry we never felt like it was about the money with Jonathan. He offers very reasonable pricing and payment plans and his service was worth EVERY PENNY and then some!!! My fiancé was facing some very serious charges which could of potentially kept him away from us for 10+ years. Jonathan was able to get 2 of the major charges dismissed and the last DRASTICALLY reduced and my fiancé will now get to be back home with us very soon!!!
