I have been a client of The Law Office of Derek S. Ritchie since January. The firm is highly professional, respectful, exudes class and delivers results. Mr. Ritchie has been my attorney from the beginning. He is well-known throughout the law community and is highly respected. I was informed numerous times by other professionals at the courthouse that “He’s the best” or “You have the BEST attorney”and I absolutely agree. Mr. Ritchie truly listens to the client’s wishes, and has even personally been available on weekends when visitation issues/concerns occurred. The paralegal assigned to Mr. Ritchie is Jozie. Karen Marvel is an extremely competent and well educated lawyer whom I retained 07/22/2022 for a very contentious and prolonged divorce which began in August 2019. Upon my first visit, she was very professional, very knowledgeable, and compassionate towards what I had been going through in the last 3 1/2 years. We are filing a grievance to the texas board due to legal malpractice. When we were about to fire Derek Ritchie, he signed orders without informing us or even allowing my husband to agree to them. Put us in a bad spot considering what he signed off too would never of been agreed to by us but since we left that was his parting gift to us. Different paralegals in and out of the office and no one ever knows what’s going on
