Mr.Emmons is the best lawyer I've ever hired. I had 2 misdemeanor cases against me that would've charged me as a felony this man is the best. He got all my cases dismissed and saved my life definitely trust this man with anything and will refer him to anyone seeking one of the best lawyers in San Antonio. My daughter was arrested in Texas in 2020 and charged with stalking, because we live in another state I searched online and spoke with several attorneys before choosing Attorney Derek Emmons to represent her.Because of the pandemic The case lasted almost 2 years .All court hearings were conducted virtually because we reside in another state.We appreciate the help we received from Attorney Derek Emmons. Facing jail time for multiple charges that I accumulated in a very short time. I didn't know what to do. Charged with felony family violence during a very contentious time in my personal life. I found Mr. Emmons. He was very professional and very attentive to my case and assured me I wouldn't see the inside of a cell. Got me off house arrest, back to work, and ultimately, a few years probation. Which, with my cases was the absolute best that I could ask for. Mr. Emmons is an excellent attorney. After a failure of representation from a prior attorney that resulted in my case being upgraded from a class B misdemeanor to a 3rd degree felony charge, I contacted Mr. Emmons. He was able to fight for me and make a plea deal with the prosecution office to drop the felony charge back down to a class B misdemeanor. Mr. Emmons was always very honest and forth coming on what was happening with my case and what to expect. I don’t plan on ever needing another criminal defense attorney, but if I do Mr. Emmons will be my first call.
