I am so grateful to have Derek Emmons as an attorney. My son found himself in a bad situation with an assault charge and a warrant. Unfortunately, during that time, my son was also hit by a wrong way drunk driver. He was arrested at the hospital and I couldn't see my son. I immediately reached out to Derek. Derek not only helped us with the assault charge, but he also helped us with the car accident medical expenses. This was the 2nd time I have used Derek Emmons as an attorney, back in 2006 (case ended in the best outcome possible) and now again in 2017-today. Almost 2 years ago I was accused of driving under the influence after I was in a bad car accident and I blacked out after smashing my head against the steering wheel. (The airbags never deployed, I later found out) Next thing I remember is waking up in a jail cell with my hands shackled behind my back. The accident occurred at approximately 8pm and I didn’t regain consciousness until approximately 4am the next morning, just to give you a sense of how long I was knocked out. I was never offered EMS help just taken straight to jail... Well today I won my court case thanks to the amazing, detailed work and research done by Mr. Emmons and his team, proving I am INNOCENT of driving a motor vehicle under the influence! I couldn’t be more excited right now but mostly I’m just so appreciative of Mr. Emmons for all of his hard work.
