I have been in and out of court for my 9 year old since he was 1. I have had other attorneys, but I have never had an experience like with Ms. Gavito. She was completely thorough. She wanted everything in detail. She took a good amount of time to hear my story without making me feel like I wan on a time limit. She actually had compassion, and seemed to really care about my case, and my son. Her prices are more then fair. She isn't the type of person to BS about your chances. Shes honest with her opinion, and wont give you unrealistic expectatiins. Shes genuinely real. This is a strong woman you would want to represent you. Shes completely sweet, and charming, but surprisingly fierce. I wouldn't want to be going up against her. It may sound like I'm talking her up, and that's because I am. I really felt blessed to have her in my corner, and I'm sure you'l feel the same way. If you're looking at her reviews befor talking with her I strongly urge you get a consultation. Just talking with her that first time gave me a huge since of relief. Anytime i have met with her shes always had a way of making me feel like everything is just going to be okay.

The first thing all clients want is an intelligent, knowledgeable lawyer to represent us. The second is a lawyer who truly cares and actually listens to your "story" and concerns. Lastly, a lawyer that is compassionate and understanding of your situation. Derek is all of these. From day one he let me know his plan, followed up when there was pertinent information to pass along. He has even taken calls/text on the weekends when I had additional concerns.
