I hired Mr. Emmons for my son's defense. He is a man that is reliable, says what means and does what he says. Through the entire process Derek was nothing but professional, courteous and kind.He was there on time all the time, which after experiences with other attorneys being late or no shows, this made a huge impact on me and took a great weight off my shoulders. He also gave me a fair payment plan for his services, and when I had a question and called his office I got to speak with him directly. In the middle of the worst nightmare a mother could imagine, I found Derek Emmons through an internet search on the day my son was involved in a horrible situation. This man became my rock throughout the next year and a half of criminal investigations and legal proceedings. I met with Derek within a few hours of my son's arrest, and he listened to me and made sense of my frantic ramblings.
