Amber, I don't want to do a review. Just a question 2 years later. If I want to change the Executor, may I have a friend who lives in a different STATE ?
Thanks,
Robin

She returned my call and let me know the option connected to my problem with the landlord. I still have to resolve the issue...didn't get any thing to show the landlord to bring the matter to a conclusion. hoping to find direct answer to but this to bed.

Ms. Ramsey represented me in probate court to probate my deceased wife's will. She was absolutely great. The entire process was completed effortlessly and without any problems. I am very satisfied with how it was handled.

Ms. Ramsey was my attorney while I was the executor of my mother's will. During this very stressful time, Ms. Ramsey clearly demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and expertise to help me. She was always prompt to return phone calls and emails, and explained the legal process in a way I could understand. She efficiently handled all the attorney's duties related to my mother's estate, including apprearing with me in probate court and I felt she represented me and the estate very well. She has that rare combination of professional skills as well as a concerned, empathic personality.

I consulted Amber Ramsey shortly after my husband's death to see what needed to be done with his estate. She was most helpful, looking over what I had already done, what I was planning to do, and advising me about steps that still needed to be done. The services she provided were taken care of quite promptly, and I look forward to working with her in the future.

My family lawyer back in Illinois recommended the Coquat Law firm to provide legal service for me since I am new in Texas. I was under a time line to get papers drawn up and Amber was assigned to help me. Amber was very professional, explained how Texas law differs from Illinois law, explained what I would need in detail and provided her direct phone line in case I had any questions. Within 4 days she had the draft documents ready, I made some changes and within a week from the first visit, all papers were signed and notarized. I did not think this was possible. I would highly recommend Amber if you ever need legal assistance

I had the pleasure and good fortune to have legal representation by the Coquat Law Firm, San Antonio, TX - specifically by Mrs. Ramsey. A case that could have been lengthy and complicated was handled expeditiously and at minimal cost.
Being that this was a family matter, the end result was agreeable to the several parties and maintained a good familial outcome. I would certainly ask for their services and highly recommend this firm to others.

A few years ago, a Virginia lawyer convinced us that we needed Pour-Over Wills and Trusts that were extremely difficult to understand and too complicated for our needs. All that we wanted was to each have a Last Will and Testament that was clear, concise, and to the point.
We recently brought our Pour-Over Wills and Trusts into Amber and asked her if she could please "simplify" it all. In less than a week, Amber was able to create exactly what we wanted. Both of us now have a Last Will and Testament that is clearly written and easy to understand (with no room for any confusion).
We are extremely happy with the results of her work and will readily recommend Amber to others.

I live in Ohio. Ms. Ramsey and her firm were referred to me by friends when it became apparent that my brother in San Antonio, who was dying, had no will. He had two houses and a number of vehicles and I was very concerned that his final wishes would be respected. She composed a wll according to his wishes and came to the hospital with notary and witnesses to have it signed and filed on time . She has also done an excellent job with the law that is involved following a death. I was very pleased with her legal assistance.

I had one of the most difficult situations when my ex-husband passed away. When we divorced he was granted our home and ordered to remove my name of the mortgage, and I was ordered to sign the deed away, in 3 years after our divorce he never did it, however I signed the deed away.. My ex-husband passed away,in 2011, and did not left a living Will for the house. Wells Fargo Mortgage home knew my situation and went after me without giving me the house or the right to move in, sell it, put it for lease or make a short sale. Pretty much my dead husband left me with a big bill an no house. I am in the military service US Navy, so SCRA LAW protected me from the bank to put the house in Foreclosure was I was underway to Iraq, and Kuwait and other countries.
I am in the Navy and I live in Norfolk VA. and it was impossible for me to travel to San Antonio. When I contacted Ms Ramsey, she was very compassionate and understanding of my situation. She started working on my case even before my check could reach her in SA, TX. Miss Ramsey is a very professional lawyer and offered several solutions outside of the box. I also contacted a Realtor and she was very willing to work with him, and keep in touch on the conditions of the house. She ws able to find my ex-husband's heirs, and their addresses using the best investigator. Her prices are very accommodating, and her secretary never harassed me with my accumulated bills.
She managed to respond to all my questions on the phone or on email. She took my case to the judge and managed to postponed for for two more years since I have been out of the country due to my Navy mobilizations, she found researched the laws that protected my rights. trouble of finding some laws that protected my rights, and contacted Wells Fargo explaining my case.
Her honesty is outstanding and spoke to my fiancé, my realtor and myself with the truth. She was a great asset to the team I put together to sell the property and pay off Wells Fargo.
Her intelligence, and patience, and high energy ran my case fast in the courts. I am very grateful to her and her team, her secretary Ms Victoria is a very professional person as well.
My fiancé and I are very grateful for her services rendered.
The Justin Coquet Law firm must be very lucky of having her working for them!

When the Father of my Children passed away, there was a debate with his widow over some of his personal affects that he had verbally promised to his Children. Amber helped us greatly and made this very difficult time so very much easier on all of us. She was well versed in the governing laws of Texas, explained them clearly in laymen's terms so that we understood what could, and could not be legally done to rectify the issue. Since my Children and I live in a different State, it was a blessing to have her there in Texas to help us. Her recommendations were paramount in the favorable outcome of the issue. I would highly recommend her as an Attorney that is knowledgeable, pleasant, honest, caring, and got the job done in a very reasonable time frame for an affordable price. I cannot thank her enough for her help.

I myself am an experienced criminal defense/personal injury lawyer that encountered a real estate issue in my personal life. Even though I myself have litigated cases for clients involving real estate and construction law, I knew I needed top notch attorneys representing me. Justin Coquat and his team of lawyers including Sherry Barnash and Amber Nelson prevailed for me. I am forever indebted to them!
