Lisa and her team of professionals have been instrumental in my custody case with my daughter. They're thoughtful, caring and catered to my needs. The team took my case serious and personal and worked hard for me to achive my goal. These folks are ethical, promote a positive approach and were aggressive where necessary. I hired this firm after really thinking I could handle the entire divorce process on my own. After walking away from the staff attorney's offices several times with no progress (because they simply do not have the time to move your case without massive delays and inadequate staff), I decided to give in and ask for help. There are so many different family attorneys in the San Antonio area that it seemed very difficult to find the right attorney that would not take advantage of me and over charge for their work. The office of Lisa Vance felt like family to me after about 2 seconds on the initial call with them. They explained the entire process and charges up front. Everything went just as they said it would and my divorce was finalized in less than two weeks. We were able to handle everything via phone and email and I only had to actually appear the day of the finalization. Amazing service, amazing people, amazing expertise. This combination rarely occurs even in the best of times, so to find it in the worst of times speaks volumes about Lisa Vance and the people she surrounds herself with. Mrs. Vance saved my life, and salvaged my future. Literally. And she did it all honorably which for me is the most important quality a human can display. She gave me much more than an annulment, she showed me that you can be fair, ethical, compassionate, kind, merciful, truthful, and honorable and still achieve the best outcome. She restored my faith in human kind and she restored my faith in myself. I hope I never need her services again, but if I do, I pray that she is available to take my case because anyone else would be hard put to meet the standards she has made me accustomed to.

I read the negative review posted by the stepmother of the child dying of cancer. First as the father who lost a child my heart goes out to the parents having to endure this unbelievable pain. Having said that I would like to give my experience in dealing with Lisa A. Vance and her firm. My daughter had two children which my ex-wife and I had been very active in their entire lives since birth. I won't go into all of the details except to say my son in-law and his new wife decided to cut both my ex-wife out of our Granddaughters lives and became extremely vindictive. We hired Lisa and found an immediate bond with her as it was obvious that she truly cared and money certainly was not the focus of her involvement. Bottom line is that because of Lisa and her team we now have custody of our eldest Grandbaby and liberal visitation with the youngest. My family cannot thank Lisa enough for what she did for our family.

I had an opportunity to meet with Mrs. Vance recently and i have to say i was blown away by her level of expertise and her compassion. She is truly a public servant that wants you to succeed on your case and will do what is in her power to assist in that. I am grateful to have met that angel on my journey of child custody. My battle has taken me to two other lawyers that were less costly but cost me know ore in time, effort and energy. For that reason, i have exhausted many resources and everything seemed so fuzzy and unknown (super scary). Lisa has a unique ability to consult you into understanding (if that makes sense). I have known Lisa for at least 6 years. I had a very contested divorce and although it's over now Lisa and I had to go through very specific details of my 26 year marriage because the issues were important to my case. You don't realize how important your lawyer will be to you and your family until you are faced with really tough issues like I was. As a human being, you can tell what Lisa's passions are by stepping into her office. Her staff is unique and her love and passion for animals is as great as it is for human beings.
