When I went through my divorce I thought I was never going to see my kids again. My wife hired a real bad ass lawyer and I believed that she was going to get everything and take my kids. I was so depressed. Then Monica explained how she was going to handle everything. No, I wasn't going to get full custody. Yes I would have to give my wife half of everything, but I wouldn't lose everything. Now I get to spend lots of time with my kids and I'm doing much better.
