Initially Don presented himself to be confident he could win our case. He appeared to be passionate about our situation and willing to be a pit bull for our family. His fee was $50,000 and must be paid upfront. We had to borrow the money from our in-laws and we made Don aware of this, so he understood the confidence we were placing in him. Don brought in a colleague to represent me, as my husband, my son and myself would need separate attorneys. We trusted Don due to his initial aggressive stance on our case and his detailed plan as to how to fight our charges. Once we paid Don and signed on the dotted line he and the other two attorneys began communicating and filing motions with the court on our behalf. We decided to use a local small town attorney for our son since he had previously represented him a few months prior. As the case began Don was present and aggressively engaging with the DA and questioning all aspects of the case. Then as time went by we observed Don being less involved and he had the local attorney appear on his behalf at a couple hearings. We began to be frustrated that the attorney we paid $50,000, became the least engaged in the process and we felt cheated. Plea deals were negotiated by the local attorney who represented our son and what we realized throughout the process was Don was overpaid for what little effort he put forth. I would not recommend Don Flanary to my family or friends.

Amanda is the best. I was falsely accused of not scanning all my items at a store causing my wife of 53 years and my family much distress. Amanda was compassionate, knowledgeable and efficient . She communicated developments with me, answered questions and provided much needed support during this time of duress. She went above and beyond with her support over the past seven months. Amanda had an excellent defense in place showing that the documentation was questionable at best, there was no video, I routinely spent about $1,000 a month on clearance items to donate to children, I used my own debit card for each transaction, I was inside the store for almost an hour after I purchased the items waiting on a co-worker and did not run off, the store employee took an item that I had previously paid for and said I did not scan it, etc. The store employee failed to make an appearance and all charges were dropped after seven months of stress. My wife cried and I was overjoyed. Thank you Amanda from both of us. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Amanda is excellent, timely, and efficient. I felt like all my questions were dumb, but she was gracious and gave me the right info to make good decisions based on the best info available for my case. The court system is convoluted. I do not know how an avg citizen would make it without attorneys and pity those left to fight for themselves
