John represented me in my divorce. It was clear from the beginning that John takes his work seriously, and is knowledgeable and experienced in both negotiation and in the courtroom. It was important to John to understand my goals in retaining his services, and there was never a moment I didn't remain informed of developments in my case. He managed my expectations while also being compassionate and professional, which can be hard to find. John is a problem solver and works professionally with others, which was important to me and explains why he has such a great reputation, which was evident when I appeared in court with him. While no one wants to have to spend their hard earned money on a divorce, John was money well spent for peace of mind. I’m very impressed! Mr. Fuentes handled by recent divorce with such knowledge, commitment, empathy, and care. He clearly explained the process and timelines – and patiently answered my many layman questions. Plus, a pleasant surprise -- he called, emailed, and met with me when he said he would (this is rare these days!!) This was the first time I’ve ever had the need for legal services, and frankly, I expected to be “just another case.” My expectations were dispelled. My brother passed away and I was trying to adopt his daughter, Mr. Fuentes was a God send. He walked us through every possible scenario and prepared us for anything/everything. There was a change of venue to Corpus Christi, he worked hand in hand with the Corpus attorney, (which he did not have to do.)
