My daughter was in a bad situation. She was being taken advantage of by her landlord since it was her first apartment. I have a list of things they've done against the lease and the law but they started hassling her when she pays rent on time and is hardly home. The situation was made more serious when an ex started following and threatening her. It didn't qualify as stalking to be able to be let out of the lease. Mr. Obermeier gave me realistic legal advice but decided to assist us anyway, Pro Bono. We had already done our part by the law to prepare. All it took was a frank letter from him and the landlord backed off, spoke to my daughter respectfully, and let her out of her lease. She was able to move and hasn't seen the crazy ex. I feel better now that she is safe. They even gave her deposit back with out any funny business. He will be my friends', family's and my lawyer for anything remotely near San Antonio. After reviewing San Antonio Lawyer, Matt was the only one who appeared to have experience in County Tax Sales. I used his website to post my questions and he responded very quickly. Several months passed and I needed him to represent me when I challenged VLB's claim against my interest on a property I bought during a Tax Sale. I can not say enough about Matthew Obermeier. I hired Matthew to settle a family property situation that was not easy. I did not know what I was going to do or did not even know where to start. I tried to get some information on how to handle the situation but realized I needed professional help. My wife looked around and talked to a few attorneys. I recently came into a family disagreement in regards to a property I owned. The issue escalated and I found myself needing to seek legal counseling. I was unfamiliar with everything that was happening. I was referred to Matthew, when I called his office he spoke to me personally at that time. I was stressed and pressing for time. Matthew agreed to meet the next day which happened to be a Saturday. I discussed the situation with Matthew. After I speaking with Matthew I felt comfortable and trusted him helping me with my case. Matthew was very nice, professional, and made me feel he cared. I also felt after speaking with Matthew he had the experience needed to take on this unique but similar case. During the course of my case, Matthew tired many ways to settle the issue without having to go to court. Matthew had to deal with two difficult parties throughout this case. My profession has a difficult and congested schedule especially at this time. Matthew would make arrangements to help work around my schedule in addition he would communicate with me himself. I felt Matthew made time for me. The other party continuously would have issues, example not having legal representation some of the time. Matthew showed respect to the other party and was very professional in every matter. Matthew was straight forward when talking with me about the case, outcomes, etc, (even when Matthew knew I would not like what I was being told) I do not feel he was just there for the money. I let Matthew know I did not want to see this family member unless it was a have to situation. Matthew was able to make this happen, only time I saw this family member was in court. In my situation any outcome was going to end with somebody getting hurt. After the case ended, Matthew went above and beyond to assist me with the last meeting with this family member. Matthew had his assistant meet this family member at my property to reduce the tension and stress that would have occurred if I had to go in person. I was very satisfied and happy I had picked Matthew as my lawyer.

I hired Matthew for a property that I owned and a very complicated situation. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and quickly responded to any e-mails.
