I was very happy to have chosen to meet with Melina Rodriguez. She went out of her way to meet with me on a Saturday afternoon. I was there to just get a document notarized so it could be filed with the county clerk, which should have taken less than two minutes. While listening to her discuss things with a family member, I was totally blown away at Melina’s knowledge. I ended up being there over an hour and she was happy to be there for me. I decided to pick her brain at some questions about a will for my wife and I. I already had interviewed SEVERAL other lawyers and thought I had made a decision, but Melina made it too easy for me to change my mind and hire her instead. She made such a difficult case that I have, finally make sense to me. She even touched bases on questions that I couldn’t get clear answers about from other lawyers about my special needs grandchildren that I’ve been worried about. What other lawyers had no clue how to answer, she had answers for every question I had and educated me throughout the process. I walked out with full confidence of EXACTLY what needs to happen to protect my large estate and how to included special provisions as well as some exclusions. Thanks Ms. Melina, you truly are amazing at what you do.

Melina is AMAZING! I messaged her and got a quick reply, which took other lawyers days to do. I needed to do what I thought was a simply deed transfer for my home into my name from my dads. She looked into everything very throughly to protect me. Other lawyers were ready to have us sign documents, but Melina did her due diligence as a wonderful lawyer and realized that the the needed documentation was missing scanned in pages through the Bexar county records. If she wouldn’t have looked into it, I would have not truly owned the home and would have had serious problems trying to sell it in the future. I truly thank her for bringing this to my attention. The most heartfelt part was that she told me this prior to even collecting my payment to be my lawyer. She really went out of her way and is truly a caring person. She didn’t have to bring this my attention prior to collecting funds. She is wonderful and I will refer her to everyone who could possibly use her services. She will forever be my family attorney!!!! I attended Law School with Melina and know her to be one of the hardest working individuals and Attorney’s that I know. She will always look out for her client’s best interests. She is who I turn to when I have questions regarding any estate planning or probate issues.
