You’ve heard that a good man is hard to find. Well, let me introduce Matthew Grimshaw, Aggie, and graduate of St. Mary’s University Law School. I was 81 when we met, a recent widow having money problems. Unable to obtain a home loan, I was in a giant mess because one of my late husband’s three daughters was claiming Heirship rights and one-half ownership of the house I bought ten years before I even met her father. Lesson # one, folks: Always go to probate. Because of this 68-year-old stepdaughter’s claims, I could not get a loan; I could not even sell my own house. Hear me: If your dearly departed owned so much as an old sleeping dog, get yourselves to probate. Enter Matthew Grimshaw. My family hired him to take us, finally, through probate. Mind you, probate takes about a month. I was growing more and more desperate and on the first and second days I was eligible for probate court to complete my case, I sat (on my own accord) taking up space in Mr. Grimshaw’s waiting room. When he realized this, this very good man and splendid attorney dropped everything and literally drove me to the old downtown Bexar County Courthouse where a judge waited for us, approved my request for probate and spoke kindly with me. Matt Grimshaw then walked me and hand carried my paperwork from office to office until all was complete and legal. I was flabbergasted. I am grateful. I was in tears. My life could move on. Lesson # two: There are good men, compassionate and excellent attorneys in San Antonio, but Matthew Grimshaw tops the list. Remember his name. You may hear it again one day.

With issues on civil property and rights I find Mr Grable very knowledgeable and able to quote cases involving said rights. Outstanding research that allowed me to move forward and confidently.
