This practice was amazing, So much I don’t even know where to begin, Shann, along with his entire team & especially Christopher Hugg (my attorney) took on my very complicated Intestate Estate Case involving my father’s death which was located in Travis County, although their office was located in San Antonio Tx. Sharon, April & Chris were very patient with me, I never felt ignored, & guided me through understanding the process of probate, which lead me down a path of closure after losing my father to COVID-19 in 2021. My father passed away with an Estate that is called Intestacy, meaning no WILL was left behind. His estate involved many other players in it, including myself at 37 years old, 2 sisters, a step mom (significantly younger) than my father, whom he had married 15 years prior & had a 13 year old son, considered a “minor child” (our half brother) in the estate which he was shared up until the time of my father’s death. I think what people need to understand is when you lose someone in such a sudden & tragic way, a gray cloud consumes your mind with grief, which exposes you to become vulnerable, & easily manipulated. There were many things that came into play with his intestate estate, which included businesses, homestead, land, and many other assets, along with siblings, a half sibling, & a step mom etc… All of the above factor’s which complicated all heirs involved situation & decisions of how the estate would be dispersed that can cause friction between families. Chris Hugg came in and represented me through out this entire process with grace, & understanding, giving me the tools I needed to preserve my father’s legacy, the ability & comfort of making sure my little brother’s inheritance would stay protected, not only was Chris able to do that through and through, but also swiftly ending it by bringing the other side to have to settle. Chris & his entire team taught me in this long process of an ordeal, that time really does heal all wounds & families can come back together again regardless of your opposition in opinions. I want everyone to know this entire team cares about you & I recommend anyone who is going through a difficult sudden tragic death or any estate needs, don’t hesitate to pick up phone & give them a call regardless of the surrounding county, just reach out and ask, it never hurts. I highly recommend using this law firm. My husband and I hired them to protest our taxes for 2022. Normally, my husband does this on his own, but decided to go with Chaudhry. We emailed mostly with Sharon, who took care of everything. The process was so much easier and stress free we used them again this year.
