Mr. Wenk is an amazing lawyer. He moved mountains to get my husband out of the shambles he had gotten himself into! I was a skeptic! Thank you Mr. Wenk. If you are looking for a lawyer that you can guarantee will work relentlessly for you, you have found it in Michael Wenk. His experience working with the court systems and expertise in how to attack a case is unparalleled in Hays County. After him working a miracle for me a few years ago and getting a serious charge reduced to a misdemeanor, I irresponsibly violated my probation and could have faced a year or more in jail. He worked tirelessly to get me the best possible scenario and I was able to overcome the mess I put myself in and walked out of the court room with my fine paid and free of any time behind bars. He is honest with you and will give you a realistic view of your case in terms that you can understand. His tough love style of counseling is helpful when needing to come to terms with whatever situation you may be in. When he is in the courtroom defending you, he is there to make sure you are represented fully with the hunger to help each client to his greatest ability. No doubt about it, he will do anything he can to help his clients and work until he knows he has done the best he can. Can't thank him enough for being able to move past my mistakes and keep moving forward in life without the cloud of what could have been a huge obstacle for me.

Mr. Wenk (former DA) is an absolute workaholic and is even available to chat with on weekends, which is awesome! He replies to emails extremely fast and always answers the phone, if he is in office. Michael wenk was able to drop my FELONY POCS to a MISDEMEANOR POCS and get me deferred adjudication (probation) that would result in a dismissal of my case. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I plan on hiring him again to get my probation early terminated because l was so happy with his service. Give him your money and hire him! He is worth every penny!

Mr. Wenk is beyond professional yet some how manages to make you feel comfortable! He is very honest with you about your situation and explains to you the exact position that you’re in without using the confusing legal mumbo jumbo. Moreover, I was a broke college student when I needed his services and he allowed me to make very reasonable, and manageable payments. This guy is a winner.

First and foremost Mr. wenk is a miracle Worker! I am still in disbelief that I am with family rather than sitting in jail. He worked  Extremely hard on my probation revocation case going the extra mile to make sure we didn’t miss any opportunity. He was available to contact & communicate with any day of the week. He even emailed me over the weekend, I’ve never seen an attorney respond so fast and over the weekend, WOW! He always answered questions and made sure that I understood what he was explaining. The Probation Dept. submitted  a   Written Report  to the Judge  recommending that I go to jail for a 6-8 week Treatment Program (not including the 3-4 weeks of having to wait in jail for a spot to open up) and the DA's Office even told the Judge in Court  that I should be put in the 6-8 week Jail Treatment Program. But after The judge reviewed the file and case that Mr Wenk put together which Included evidence + documentation, he successfully argued &  persuaded the Judge NOT to put me in the Jail Treatment program but instead do the Program I was already participating in where I live so I wouldn’t have to miss work, miss class and be taken away from my family. If you are in need of legal help I can assure you that he is the most trustworthy, hardworking lawyer you will ever meet. I knew the moment I hired him that I would be in good hands. Don’t waste your money on other attorneys who take your money and forget about you, go for the attorney who cares about your well being and wants to sincerely help you from getting a criminal record or prison.

Mr. Wenk helped me a great deal. Even while I was in Arizona, he was able to help me take care of my problem. I am eternally greatful to him for all his hard work.

Where to begin? There are so many faults and weaknesses to attorney, Cliff McCormack. Do not hire this man. He does not prepare for the trial. He was poorly prepared for my trail after deferring it for 3 years. He did not contact the witnesses until the day before the trail. He did not ask the witness for vital records and information at the trial. He does not know how to phrase questions correctly, or even ask them. His cross-examinations are so weak, or prefers not to cross-examine. He does not even pronounce terms or names correctly, which builds no confidence or credibility with the jury. There is even more harm and lack of protection that could be addressed. My opinion is pay more, get a better lawyer that fights, prepares, presents better evidence, and knows how to phrase questions, and communicates better. You will waste your money with Clifford McCormack. It is not money well spent, and most likely lose your trial due to his style, and lack of preparations.

Looking for an attorney that does what he says he's going to do? Look no further. Money well spent! They say the wheels of justice move slow---not with Mr. Wenk. Stay out of trouble but if you find yourself in a bind, Call Michael Wenk!
