Called them, gave some information, found out how much they charge so I decided to go another direction. I never had a consult or anything with them and they called the opposing party and caused so many issues for me. I started getting mean, threatening texts and calls and had to leave work and lose out on money due to an anxiety attack. They had no right to cause me any trouble. Was it because I didn’t go through with my consult?

Melysa and the team here are the best in the business. I can not recommend them enough, they went to bat for me in a way I will be eternally grateful for, Melysa is a powerhouse of communication, efficiency, empathy and legal proficiency. She really cares about the people and the outcomes. She did right by me, my kids and the mother of my kid in a complicated drawn out divorce process that spanned months. I am eternally grateful and she went to extreme lengths to make sure this was handled with kid gloves, exactly how I wanted and needed; with the upmost respect, professionalism kindness and without judgment.

Unprofessional, doesn't care about the well being of their clients and will stick you with bills and payments plans that lead no where

Unfortunately I put my trust in McNutt Law Firm and was directly represented by Juliana Johnson. I was looking for modifications because I was being harassed by my sons Dad, he barely showed up, and I wasn't receiving child support. The law firm took advantage of my lack of law knowledge immediately submitting all sorts of forms that had nothing to do with our modification case. She couldn't get my sons Dad to show up for mediation and I spent almost $20K in what I was assured would end in my successful modifications. After over a year, she convinced me to settle with his lawyer and my modifications were scarce though I did get child support (the Dad agreed to it). Two months after our final court hearing I started asking questions. Why hasnt it been submitted? Why am I being charged? She did not like this so she withdrew from the case before everything was finalized. Go ahead and work with these people if you want to be made a mockery of by your opposing council and throw $20,000 down the drain. Nothing has changed a year and a half later and she was extremely rude in the end.

We are so grateful to have had the McNutt law firm represent us, especially having Ms. Alvarez as our attorney right next to us all the way. We were in family court and Ms.Alvarez had so much knowledge about the law. As we were about to get our grandkids taken away because of a CPS mistake and having time lapse on our case, what I call (statue of limitation) not the correct term but that’s what I call it. Ms. Alvarez and her team went straight to work the minute we contacted them as we were called at noon and where told this information and that we would have to hire an attorney and have the paperwork work in by 5 pm, that same day. We were so scared of them either going to foster or back to un unstable and un healthy environment. The firm moved quick, this was July of 2023 and now we are May of 2024 and as of yesterday we have completed or case and are as happy as we can be. Thanks to Ms. Alvarez and the McNutt law firm. Ms. Alvarez believes in her work and believes in her clients, at the beginning Ms. Alvarez told us “I believe in your case so believe in me and trust me” and we did. SO GRATEFUL, AND HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME.
