Great attorney and great guy. He knows the science behind the DWI arrest. The breath tests, blood tests, and field sobriety tests are prone to errors. Rich knows how to fight a DWI charge. I can not recommend him enough to fight a DWI in Hays County!

Mr. Ursha has been amazing and extremely helpful in a very stressful, and oftentimes overwhelming, point in my life. He was able to calm me down and explain stage-by-stage what needs to be done in order to receive the best possible outcome. He's always available to be contacted, and is able to respond to any questions or concerns in a timely manner.

I faced a bogus POM charge while in college that stemmed from an affidavit that contained several blatant lies. For example it incorrectly said that I supposedly purchased marijuana from an undercover agent. However, I was in Dallas for a funeral in front of hundreds of people that day. Furthermore, my roommate at the time had already plead guilty for the possession of the mj found in the apartment's living room. When I asked Ursha about the affidavit, he said something along the lines of, "well, they lie a little bit, you lie a little bit and the truth is somewhere in the middle." If I wasn't a broke college student, I would have left immediately. However, he charged me the last $1,000 I had. It was an awful experience that I endured and he was a part of it. I would never recommend this guy. He pushes the fact he knows all of the prosecutors and that he hangs out with them like that's supposed to instill confidence in him. I want someone who fights for you and isn't worried about ruffling some feathers. All in all, he may work for some folks, but he didn't work for me. I can not recommend him as an attorney.

I can hear in his voice he's a very busy man but he makes time to give a thorough consultation and helps me not fear in the future! Defiantly would recomend him for his services

Richard really is as good as it gets. I had a legal situation i needed help with and was lucky enough to find Richard Ursha on Yelp. I had interviewed one or two other Austin attorneys had a very good feeling after talking to Richard. From the start, Richard was Awesome!!! He is friendly, and sincere, and you get the feeling that he actually cares about his Clients. He knows what he's doing and is very well connected with the DA's and Judges. He took a lot of time to meet with us and fully explain the process, our options, and answer all our questions. He quoted a price for what he thought it would cost for my case up front, which i thought to be very reasonable. In actuality, the case went on far longer than he thought it would and involved a lot more of Richards time than he expected. I was VERY suprised to find out, after my case had been dismissed by the court, that he was honoring the original estimate he had given me. I think that most attorneys wouldn't have thought twice about inflating the bill. He is honorable and very good at what he does. He has earned my loyalty and i will go out of my way to refer him to friends or family members who need a good criminal attorney.

Mr. Ursha was more tentative and responsive to my many questions than any lawyer could have ever been. I am so thankful for the prompt manner that he would respond to my phone calls. We had a very small chance of winning and he told us every single detail of the things that we needed to get done and in the exact time amount that we needed it done (and we ended up winning our case). I would highly recommend Mr.Ursha to anybody needing a criminal defense lawyer.

When I found myself in need of a lawyer, Rich was there with knowledge, assistance, kindness, and comfort. He seemed to know what I was going thru and was accessible to answer my calls / questions. He always kept me in the loop with what was going on with my case, and reminded me of when and where I needed to be. I've never needed a lawyer before, but Attorney Ursha was great. He knew what he was talking about and was able to get my case dismissed. I never had to go to court in the 6 + months the case lasted!
