This guy's is the absolute best there is. If you value your freedom and don't want things going south give this guys office a call. He won't just settle for a deal, he'll get you better results than you were thought possible.

I had gotten into an accident, and was later arrested for a Felony DWI. The Prosecutor was not willing to listen to the story and realize there really wasn't an accident, and my only offer was going to be prison time. I was so scared thinking that I was going to be going away for a number of years. I hired Jackie to represent me, and we went to multiple hearings over the course of several months. I was always so nervous sitting there and watching Jackie talk to the prosecutors. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I was always paying attention to Jackie's demeanor when he spoke to them, and it was easy to see he was passionate about my defense. The Prosecutor agreed to lessen my offer, but it was still too much to bear. Jackie came up with another strategy, and we took it to Court, and I ended up getting probation and no prison sentence whatsoever! He kept me informed the entire time, and even when I was confused, he would reassure me. We prepared for my final hearing, and he called witnesses, argued my case, and we got a better result than I was ever expecting! If you are ever accused of anything, HIRE JACKIE!!!

When I knew I was getting a divorce, I was very nervous about what would happen with visitation with my son because I have always heard that Texas is a “mommy State.” I hired Jackie, and he walked me through everything we could expect and made me feel a ton better about the process. I ended up getting more than I ever expected, and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Nobody likes the idea of needing a lawyer, but if you do, call Jackie! He won’t drown you in unrealistic expectations, empty promises, or legal jargon!

I got a dwi and it was my first one. I didn’t know what to do and was overwhelmed. I called multiple lawyers and found Jackie who seemed like the real deal. So after the state made its offer we stayed strong and on the day of my sentencing Jackie managed to get a last minute deal with the state to give me deferred probation! Which means it’s not a conviction and will be DISMISSED after I finish probation. Can’t recommend him enough!

Jackie was incredible with my case, an absolute powerhouse in the courtroom. I hired him for a family case and he knocked it out of the park with all the results I had hoped for. The best part about the whole process is how at home Jackie made me feel, very down to earth guy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

When I was living in Texas, I received a Citation for DWLI. I had no idea I had a court date, and moved to my home state of Michigan. It wasn’t until 9 years later that I realized I had a warrant! I was scared and didn’t even know what to do or where to start! I contacted Jackie, and he set my mind completely at ease and handled everything on his end with court and getting the charges handled! I’m so confused reading some of these reviews. No way are they actually clients. I was representing myself in a family law case and called his office very last minute before trial. He returned my call same day, retained all needed information, and we closed my case with everything I wanted in no time at all. I’ve since had to deal with repeated violations from the other party and I have had ZERO issues getting ahold of Jackie and getting the issue solved. I would 100% recommend anyone to him

I don’t usually leave reviews, but if it could help someone else in their legal cases I’m leaving this one. I would not recommend this firm to absolutely anyone! I have multiple emails between myself and mr vanzandt regarding my case. He could not keep scheduled meetings or even phone calls on serious matters that I needed guidance. Throughout the whole time of him being my representative I only personally got to met him 1 time, all other scheduled visits never happened because he “didn’t know” or calls he never made because I don’t even know why 🤷🏼‍♀️ there was absolutely nothing done with my case and I have not heard back in 2 months almost regarding a retainer refund which I most likely will not see considering he hasn’t emailed be back and you can’t reach him in the office either.
