I highly recommend the Parzivand Law Firm. I had questions regarding my rights as an employee after experiencing debilitating symptoms from an ectopic pregnancy, being placed on FMLA following an emergency surgery and then being laid off after being released to return to work in the middle of a pandemic. In one of the scariest and uncertain times of my life, Hessam showed the utmost empathy for my circumstances while providing professional, honest and thoughtful guidance as I successfully negotiated an increased severance package during my workplace separation process.

When I met Hessam, I had no idea what to expect, and I was going through an extremely difficult transition in so many areas of my life. I was approaching matters I was clueless about. I was fearful, confused, and overwhelmed to say the least. Hessam helped me sort out the chaos inside my head by explaining his capabilities, my options, and offering realistic expectations. I never felt intimidated or pressured by Hessam. He’s easy to talk to and I felt comfortable being vulnerable with him. There were multiple times I’d say, “I’m not sure what exactly that means, but I trust you” and I meant it. He’s professional, knowledgeable, and if you’re not well-versed in the legal world, he will explain matters so you can understand the process (and if you still don’t fully understand—like me at times—you can trust he will do what’s best for you). Hessam is a genuine, kind lawyer and man who gave me hope and was readily available to respond to my MANY questions. He made me feel comfortable, listened to my story, checked in on me, and made me laugh on some of my worst days. He is incredible at his profession and a wonderful human being.
