Ms Ferrer game great advice regarding an adverse claim. If she practiced in my area she would be my choice!

I consulted with Ada about a small claims issue. When I spoke to her on the phone she sounded really helpful but I was concerned about her level of experience. I had emailed her some information prior to the consultation which she reviewed and we discussed. I though we were on the same page and I thought that the consultation was more of a formality to fine tune details. Although it was a small claims issue, the case was rather complex. I had advised Ada this on the phone but she insisted she could handle the case. When I arrived at the consultation, I received a completely different demeanor. I had a legal consultation before and expected to review details of the incident but Ada refused to hear anything. I spent two hours there arguing with her to just listen to my case. The entire time she was more concerned about what other lawyers did on the case and trying to prove she was smarter than them and even me. I completely shut down in the consultation. The last thing anyone in a legal matter wants us to argue with anyone, you seek an attorney to avoid a fight, not get into a battle. My daughter sat back and watched her continuously ask me a question and then cut me off. At some point I wondered if she forgot she was getting paid to help me. She also tried to brush me out the office because of two things, I tried to explain some things the other party used as a defense statement which were critical but she made up her mind that they weren't and wouldn't allow me to even tell her and she wanted to suit for a larger amount than I had communicated to the business that I desired to settle for. I explained to her I understand that maybe I could have gotten more but I just want to be made whole and I wasn't looking to get rich. Ada was a little too aggressive in her approach and no matter how I attempted to get her to hear the incident or anything relavant, she shut me down. She suggested that maybe I seek another attorney but I had already felt it would be necessary as I didn't understand how she could represent me if she wasn't able to listen to the issue.

Ada helped me with resolving 2 complex business matters the last 2 years. One, an early lease termination. Ada succeeded in getting me out of the lease with 3 years left. I got out of that lease with 0 liability and a few free months. Second case, A business lawsuit against me. A business i sold but still held personal guarantee. The new tenant closed the business and i was liable for the unpaid rent and other liabilities. Ada succeeded in negotiating a term that resulted in a very small fraction of the original claim. In both cases, Ada worked against some of the biggest law firms representing the landlords. Very happy of both results. I thank Ada for her awesome job.

Had some real estate questions to see if I had a legit case against my landlord. Mrs. Ferrer was kind and listened to my concerns and issues. She was honest with me even though it wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear. She explained to me why my case would not be viable but also gave me advice on how to handle my issues with the landlord without spending money I didn't really have on a lawyer and trying to take them to court. She could have just told me anything and took my money but she didn't! I would definitely recommend her!

I hired Ada to assist in a chapter7 case that I hired a different attorney initially to represent me. Ada jumped in head first and sorted things out quickly and never missed a beat. My case being primarily business related debt was not the typical no asset case. It was or is complicated Do not hesitate to call Ada she can get in tune with the facts rather quickly.
