Lori goes above and beyond. She believes in what is just and true. I couldn't have asked for a better attorney for my daughter. I highly, highly recommend Lori. It is of the utmost importance to choose an amicus attorney who will prioritize the well-being of your child in any legal proceedings. Unfortunately, my experience with Lennea Cannon was one of disappointment and disregard for the safety of my child. Despite having compiled a list of experienced and qualified amicus attorneys, the opposing party insisted on the "cheapest option" available, which resulted in the selection of Ms. Cannon. This decision, which prioritized cost over the quality of representation, disregarded the well-being of my child and left us without a competent amicus attorney. As the petitioner in the case, I felt that the process was biased towards the other party and did not provide a thorough, independent assessment of the situation. My concerns were not adequately addressed and communication with the amicus was not as responsive as I had hoped. Furthermore, I found Ms. Cannon's behavior during our communication to be unprofessional and dismissive of my concerns about my child's well-being and safety. At one point, she mocked and laughed over me. It was also disappointing to witness the lack of engagement and attention during the home visit with my family (it lasted 11 minutes and 8 seconds). Most concerning of all is that Ms. Cannon may have been unable to recognize potentially harmful behavior in the other parent (i.e. narcissism, borderline personality disorder, homophobia, transphobia, and racism). This raised concerns to me about her ability to effectively advocate for the child's safety and seemed to be a significant weakness in her ability as an amicus who may place children back into hostile and toxic environments. Lastly, I was disappointed to learn that Ms. Cannon retained excess funds without refunding them, and when questioned about it, she denied receiving the payment despite evidence to the contrary. In retrospect, "you get what you pay for”. Seeing my child's well-being ignored and trivialized in court by an amicus attorney who was supposed to represent her concerns was a heart-wrenching experience. [UPDATE] -- After numerous emails and requests for follow-ups, Lennea has finally returned a portion of the excess funds that were owed to me. Unfortunately, my bank account was overdrawn for a total of 75 days, which caused significant inconvenience and stress. In addition, I received a threatening email from Lennea, demanding that I remove this review. I made it clear to her that I would consider modifying the review once the excess funds were returned to me. I have since received the check, and it has cleared my bank. While I am grateful that one matter has been resolved, I feel it is important to communicate the challenges that were encountered during the process. While I hope that Lennea Cannon will take steps to improve her communication and avoid similar issues in the future, I still would not recommend this attorney. I hope you can agree that accountability is essential for any profession, and the legal field is no exception. When there are no consequences for such unprofessional behavior, it creates a culture where innocent parents are left vulnerable. It is my hope that my experience with Lennea Cannon will serve as a reminder of the importance of communication and professionalism in the legal profession.

I hired Mrs. Blackwell at Cannon Law for my initial custody case in 2017 and did not hesitate to request her services again when I needed someone that would help me fight for my children’s well being and safety , and to modify my current orders. Not only is she extremely proficient and knowledgeable in her field, she is beyond thorough when it comes to combing through the details and leaving no stone unturned. Through the most stressful and unnerving time in my life, Mrs. Blackwell and the staff at Cannon Law stepped up to the plate and reassured me that I was in good hands throughout the entire process. Lennea Cannon is the best family law lawyer. If you’re looking for someone to listen to your concerns and be direct and HONEST with you, then you want Lennea as your lawyer. Lennea’s personalized attention her and her staff provided me exceeded my expectations. I have worked with other lawyers, who did a lot of talking, but never delivered. Lennea stands by her word and does not make commitments she isn’t able to keep. Again, if you are looking for a lawyer who listens to you, provides excellent customer service and delivers, then hire Lennea Cannon as your lawyer.

On April 4-2018 I was pulled over at the corner of Spencer and Randolph rd in Pasadena tx right in front of my house witch I thought would in able the police officer 👮‍♀️ to let me go with a warning but I was in for a long 9month court drag out I was very nervous every time I went to court because it was my second dwi that I was being charged with in the mist of being afraid and scared when it felt like all hope was lost....I googled top lawyers for dwi in Houston and mrs Allie cannon came out as one of the top 10 best dwi lawyers so I chose to meet her on my court date I expected her to not to show that much interest in my case as most lawyers do but boy was I wrong from the very first moment she new we had a good case and she would be able to help...all tho there are lawyers that promise you things and never happen mrs Allie was always honest and sure of here self you could notice the confidence as soon as she stepped in the room she never made me wait all day for reset I was usually out in 30 or 45 min rather quick if you ask me...so I was offered a plea deal and obviously she had to tell me about it by law but she informed me we would not be takeing the plea because she strongly believe that we could git this dismissed so I put all my trust and faith in her.....
