James Stillwell is a great attorney who is an upmost professional. He and Brandi, his assistant are a great team to work with. His communication style makes legalese easy to understand. I highly recommend him.

James Stilwell is organized, hard-working, and charges a fair fee. He and his staff are attentive to detail; they follow the law and meet deadlines instead of using unprofessional cheap tricks to antagonize opposing counsel. I was confident that James was always prepared, whether for a hearing, a deposition, or trial. He has a high standard of ethics and professionalism.

Mr. Stilwell understood the scope of what we tried to accomplish and what needed doing. He was extremely empathetic to our situation and went over and beyond our expectations. He was very professional and the advice he gave was invaluable. I believe that without him and the service he provided, that we would still be trying to figure things out. He was also able to expedite the process and accomplished a huge feat within a very small window of time. The process that usually takes 6 months to a year took a little over a month. I hope we never need an attorney again, but if we do, I will be knocking on his door asking him for his help.

I was put in contact with James from a mutual party and it was the best decision I ever made. Mr. Stillwell is very professional, thorough, and compassionate person. He made legalese easier for us to understand and was willing to go the extra mile to investigate all possibilities. In addition, his advice proved to be invaluable and something we were not hearing from other people. As far as I am concerned, it is worth the long drive to hire Mr. Stillwell. Yes, we have a plethora of attorneys from which to choose in our town, but none are as compassionate about his work or as empathetic as he is. His dedication to our family speeded up a process that can sometimes take up to a year to a waiting time of a couple of months. He is honest (many people do not trust lawyers), professional, and has great insight into how the system works and was able to explain it in terms we understand. I would hire him in a heart beat if I ever need an attorney for anything else. I only wish I could have given him 10 stars instead of 5.
