Montgomery county is tough. If you’ve been charged with anything there, you already know. Matt was methodical throughout the process. My case was dismissed and in a very short time!!! Mr. Horak did an excellent job. He took my case seriously. Even though hes very busy he made me feel like my case was a priority. He was very responsive. He was patient in talking through the entire court proceedings with me. Very knowledgeable with the courts. He definitely will fight for you. Matt Horak is an absolute life saver. My wife and I had called the local police to help meditate a mental breakdown situation only for them to decide to arrest and press DV charges. The public defender was trying to push for a plea bargain, so we decided to go with a friends recommended lawyer who just made things even worse. Not all heroes wear capes. Some of them carry a briefcase and wear tie. I don’t think this review could explain exactly how grateful I am to have Matt on my side. He has represented me in many cases, and never failed me. Not once. Most recently I was charged with a very serious felony as well as a misdemeanor. I felt like everything in my life was coming together, only to fall apart when this happened. I was in the process of obtaining my real estate license, and if convicted I would not be eligible to receive it. I was feeling hopeless and nervous and so was my family. Matt always kept me calm, and was so polite to my mother and grandmother. Matt is such a wonderful person and what every attorney should strive to become. His team, Ana and Corrina are also wonderful. They are so helpful and always or quick to answer any questions I had. Matt got both of my cases dismissed. The icing on the cake was he was able to obtain my property back which contained a sentimental item I thought I would never see again. I remember sitting in a court room when I was still incarcerated, watching people get handed court-appointed attorneys. One of the people was assigned Matt. They saw that he was my paid attorney. In that cramped van on our way back to the jail, they proceeded to ask me.”Hey. That guy any good?” I literally rolled my eyes and looked at them and told them just how lucky they were.
