Very professional and down home experience

I had a wonderful experience working with Hannah Kinney and her paralegal, Misty Lavoi for my divorce. The Deford Agency did such a great job from the initial contact with Katherine until the closure of the divorce. Huge thanks to Deford and especially to Hannah and Misty!

Excellent communication and customer service from the very first phone call. They handled my needs quickly and efficiently.

This law firm is one of the most unethical and profit-driven practices I've ever encountered. They assign inexperienced attorneys such as Mrs. Deonee High, charge full attorney rates for basic clerical tasks, and completely lack both objectivity and clarity in their communication. They ignore evidence due to bias and inexperience, and once they know you have money, they exploit it. They are unfamiliar with trust matters and lack the willingness to properly research them. Their approach is to push their own agenda without making a real effort, and they may drop you during a hearing as a form of pressure and coercion—either you comply with their terms and accept what they offer, or you're left on your own mid-hearing or trial, facing the challenge of finding new legal representation and a hefty bill. This clearly reveals their lack of loyalty and commitment to clients. I lost around $12,000 to this firm with no results. Switching to another firm mid-hearing was the best thing that happened to me. You are led to believe there is a hierarchy in this firm, but in reality, there is none; each attorney works for their own interests.
