This is a horrible family law firm, they screwed up my child custody case so bad that I had to fire them in the middle of my case and hire an another law firm. I then hired Janet Spielvogal and I realized that I should have hired her from the beginning.

Teresa is strong and compassionately advocates for her clients. She is also empathetic to the difficulties of divorce and makes people feel heard and appreciated. She absolutely loves being a lawyer and it shows in her work and her staff. Highly recommend DeFord Law Firm!

I highly recommend this law firm! I made a post on Facebook through the I Love Conroe Paige. I asked for recommendations for a lawyer to fight for the father's rights. Over 20 people recommended this law firm. We had a couple of consultations with other lawyers and we were not impressed but, after having one consultation meeting with Hammad Syed I knew he was going to be our lawyer. He took the time to answer all questions and to explain everything clearly. He made recommendations to us as to what to do before we even hired him. We won our case because of Mr. Syed and Barbra. Barbara was very patient and very helpful. I needed to talk to her on the phone one day and she heard the distress in my voice. Before even addressing the issues the phone call was for she took a moment to calm me down and reassure me that they are doing everything they can to fight for our family and everything will work out in our favor. I greatly appreciate that. Mr Syed made Single Court date less stressful. He helped us to feel comfortable and even had us laughing and reassuring us that everything would be okay he is amazing. He went above and beyond to fight for us. This Law Firm has been a blessing to our family we have zero regrets about choosing this law firm.

Danna took over our case and worked diligently in a short amount of time to prepare for the trial to establish a safe, secure future for our granddaughter. Giving two stars because I called and I explained my case to the lady on the phone. She was very sweet and recommended a consultation call - where I could go through my case deeply and more detailed to the person in charge (I thought I would be taking to an attorney on the phone). My consultation call lasted 2 minutes since when I explained my case the person talking to me informed that she wasn’t an attorney and couldn’t help me. Also she informed me that they charge $350 per hour in order to talk to one of their attorneys. Total waste of my time and expectations. Would have been easier if I was informed since the beginning that I wouldn’t be talking directly to some who could help me and get the price right away.

If I could give her zero stars, I would. She comes across compassionate and really good during a consult. However, once you write out that check, don’t expect any communication. Your calls and texts will go unanswered. If you come from an abusive marriage, with kids involved…..RUN. She WILL NOT fight for you.
