I don’t even know where to start, this law firm was so lacking, I’m still paying for my divorce, absolutely the worst representation I’ve ever had. They had no clue how to protect me as a business owner, my attorneys lack of knowledge was astonishing. I did 90% of the talking in court and if it was up to them I wouldn’t have a business today. If you are a business owner that was in place prior to your marriage, you absolutely don’t want to use this group. Worst experience of my life. Hannah was a terrible attorney, she charged me 1000 dollars everytime I would call with a simple request or concern. Even after I pleaded with Theresa Deford before signing onto the firm that I was leaving my abusive ex they seemed like they would help me. They are liars. They don't help anyone but themselves. They are sexist against women even though they are women themselves. This is the worst law firm I have ever worked with. Please do yourself a favor and choose differently.

This is a horrible family law firm, they screwed up my child custody case so bad that I had to fire them in the middle of my case and hire an another law firm. I then hired Janet Spielvogal and I realized that I should have hired her from the beginning.

Teresa is strong and compassionately advocates for her clients. She is also empathetic to the difficulties of divorce and makes people feel heard and appreciated. She absolutely loves being a lawyer and it shows in her work and her staff. Highly recommend DeFord Law Firm!

I highly recommend this law firm! I made a post on Facebook through the I Love Conroe Paige. I asked for recommendations for a lawyer to fight for the father's rights. Over 20 people recommended this law firm. We had a couple of consultations with other lawyers and we were not impressed but, after having one consultation meeting with Hammad Syed I knew he was going to be our lawyer. He took the time to answer all questions and to explain everything clearly. He made recommendations to us as to what to do before we even hired him. We won our case because of Mr. Syed and Barbra. Barbara was very patient and very helpful. I needed to talk to her on the phone one day and she heard the distress in my voice. Before even addressing the issues the phone call was for she took a moment to calm me down and reassure me that they are doing everything they can to fight for our family and everything will work out in our favor. I greatly appreciate that. Mr Syed made Single Court date less stressful. He helped us to feel comfortable and even had us laughing and reassuring us that everything would be okay he is amazing. He went above and beyond to fight for us. This Law Firm has been a blessing to our family we have zero regrets about choosing this law firm.
