I was charged with a 2nd degree felony, facing the possibility of spending YEARS in prison. The District Attorney’s Office seemed like they were confident with their case, so naturally, I was terrified at the possibility of spending any amount of time incarcerated, much less 2-20 years. I called Mr. Platten, we spoke, and I immediately felt better about my situation. To make the Long Story short, Mr. Platten and the Assistant DA spent about eight seconds viewing the Police Department’s dash-cam footage, before coming to an agreement to reduce my charge down to a class A misdemeanor!!! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this man.
