After a year of getting nowhere with a court appointed attorney, J. Brett Harrison took my case and despite the difficulty of the case, CoVid, and other delays the case was settled in about 4 months. Mr. Harrison and Carrie, his assistant, were very respectful, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Phone calls were returned promptly. My son was attacked by two assailants and defended himself. But my son was the one arrested and was looking at prison time. He had never been in trouble before. It was up to our legal team to prove self-defense. Brett and Kimberly were amazing throughout the year long process. (due to Covid) To say our family was under stress is an understatement. My son has PTSD from the attack and was terrified the DA and Grand Jury would indict him. The decision was made that my son acted in self-defense and a "No Bill" was issued!!!! Charges were dropped and my son's story validated.
