First and foremost give all glory to God. Second of all just a thank you is not enough expression for what Gerald Villarreal and staff has done for me and family. Gerald took a case from where the only offer was jail time, to a total dismissal. I did not even have to make my second appearance in front of the judge. TY Gerald & colleagues for a second to none representation.

The whole team at Dunnam and Dunnam was extremely capable handling a relatively complex civil business matter on my behalf. More than legal competence, though, the team was patient, empathetic and generous with me, their client. Even though the process took over 5 years, the whole team at Dunnam and Dunnam persevered to reach the conclusion. I am fortunate to have had them on my side.

Earlier this year, I ended up needing legal assistance in a very serious matter in the Waco area. As everyone knows, the legal process is complex and extremely intimidating, and it is difficult to know everything that has to be done and when, but if you don't get it all done right and on time, it can potentially wreck your life. On the basis of web searches, word of mouth, and the firm's four generation history in Waco, I retained attorney Gerald Villarreal and legal assistant Rhonda Maher at Dunnam & Dunnam. Gerald and Rhonda were both stellar, and it was entirely due to their efforts that I navigated the process successfully, and emerged with a much better outcome than I could possibly have had otherwise. At every stage of this process, their extensive knowledge of law and procedure, their timeliness and attention to detail, and their connections and professional reputation were clear to see, and these made the difference in the outcome. I also had some handicaps and difficult circumstances that complicated my case, and they were able to work with the relevant authorities to accommodate these conditions. Retaining Dunnam & Dunnam generally, and Gerald and Rhonda specifically, was by far the best thing that I did in this situation. I will be forever deeply grateful for their work on my behalf, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing the services of an attorney in the Waco area.

Called to ask if they handled my particular situation. Girl on phone wanted my full name. I told her i was not comfortable giving personal info out at that time due to just wanted to make sure they handled what I had. Her excuse was to see if there was any conflict of interest. I told her then they would only need the name of the other person, not mine. She insisted that they needed mine. Not sure how knowing only my personal info was going to help determine that since obviously this firm does not represent me. But she continued to insist. They just lost a potential client because of a ridiculous little girl answering their phones. It is not a requirement, its just a lousy answering service trying to collect info.

Gerald, Rhonda and Team are absolutely amazing. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. They helped me (and my family) through an unfortunate/crazy situation, and they had it resolved within 2 months. (We were mainly waiting on others to action before Gerald could). Gerald addressed immediately with an amazing resolution. But, nonetheless, they will never ever fully understand how much I appreciate them. And, they will always have a special place in "my story."

Twice this firm promised to represent me and twice they left me hanging on the eve of a court date. I no longer trust Jim Dunnam and I never will again.
