The insurance company pressured me to accept a low settlement even though I had injuries that would require a long time to heal. I tried to reach a fair settlement without retaining an attorney but to no avail. After a year of getting nowhere I started interviewing law firms and attorneys. Ms. Long negotiated a settlement with the insurance company well above what I expected to receive. Without question, she put my interest before hers throughout the course of the lawsuit and acted with the highest levels of ethical standards. Felicia Truehitt, Ms. Long’s assistant, kept me informed of the status of the claim frequently and responded to my questions no later than the following day. I am thankful to have had Ms. Long on my side because she relieved a huge stress problem in my life and attained a far better outcome than what I would have done on my own.
