During a paid consultation she basically rushed me out of the office and wouldn’t even listen to all of my concerns. It was obvious that she didn’t have time or me nor did she care to make time. Very unprofessional. Talked with her for less than 15 minutes and the consultation was $100. For such a fee I felt that she should have listened at least to all of my concerns and at least worn her shoes. Would never recommend her to anyone

Connie McGuire makes things happen. She’s represented me AND my son in custody cases, and we both WON. Connie is a no nonsense, hard core attorney that will tell it like it is, fight for your rights and demand results. She’s extremely professional and highly knowledgeable. I highly recommend her for representation.

Connie McGuire is a legend in her field of work. She does not waste your time or money beating around the bush or sugar coating anything. She’s very professional and very up front and honest. She focuses on the task at hand and expects results. The staff in this office is very approachable, knowledgeable and easy to reach. I highly recommend Connie to anyone who needs legal representation.

Connie McGuire is very unprofessional. She talks openly and loadly about cases in public areas for everyone to hear. She could careless if you and your ex have an agreement. She sees it as her case and demands you do it her way. Put your foot down with this old lady And demand she listens to your request. I highly recommend no one us her.

Mr. McGuire represented my husband and I back in 2007. Now giving him the benefit of the doubt, he may have gotten better since then, but I can say I will absolutely never use their services OR recommend them to anyone! Mr. McGuire was only unprofessional and unorganized, but he almost cost us the case by neglecting to submit the paperwork required to change jurisdiction from Dallas to Ellis county. It was not until we retained separate representation 4 months later, that I was made aware of his error! Furthermore, our opponent's attorney told us afterwards that Mr. McGuire told him we (my husband and I) did not have a case and had no chance of winning! A big "no no" in the legal world.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Kent McGuire is very neglegient in his case handling. Lacks knowledge about family court matters regarding fathers and will show up to court completely unprepared. When he last went in, he chose not to represent my husband, landed him in jail, and told us "find another lawyer I do not feel like fighting this". He was shaken when we realized I had another attorney standing at my side who we had just hired and now was a witness to his mistreatment. This was after his failure to file what we paid him for. He then denied us our invoices to see what exactly he had done with our money. I am very glad we chose to go with another since Mr. McGuire couldn't even draft correct final orders, his temporary orders were sloppy, and he conveniently "forgot" to file for the amendment of child support. We made our decision to change our attorneys quickly after he accused me of having a sugar daddy to pay him (not in a bad way but in a ooohhh you have a sugar daddy who pays your bills don't you way), said we should stop fighting and just wait until she is 12, and called my husband weird. He just wouldn't stop attacking us. My husband is a disabled Purple Heart Veteran. Kent continued to imply that we could not afford to keep paying to fight this. That wasn't the first sexual comment he made to me and I do believe my defense of myself when he made such comments is half the reason he purposely threw our case. I also believe he was working with the other attorney to get my husband put in jail. There were some odd things done between the two of them AND he didn't even object to my husband not being properly served. There was also a hearing where it says the "attorneys and parties came to an agreement", we had no knowledge about this hearing or agreement. If you come to this office, expect to be treated like a second class citizen.

I agree with both of the other clients - she is rude and unprofessional lawyer for her old age. I would definitely not recommend anyone to her. Maybe you would have better luck using her husband instead of her. She is not for the client but usually works with the opposite spouse's attorney and try to make a deal without consulting whats best for her client. I heard that Attorney John Mallios is the best in Ellis County for Divorce/Family Law.
