Hello Everyone, I cannot say enough positive things about Ben, his firm and the level of service provided. I often joked with Ben that he was the best thing about my divorce. That turned out to be true. I found Ben while searching for "aggressive" divorce lawyers. I am pretty mild mannered so I knew I needed someone who was going to keep me focused with an aggressive mentality and approach. As a man going through a divorce in the great state of Texas, I'll admit, it's pretty terrifying. But Ben is the lawyer that you hope your soon to be ex doesn't hire, because you would never want to go up against this guy in the courtroom. In a very wild and bitter divorce case that involved every allegation under the sun directed at me, police involvement, and meddling in-laws, this man defended me with grit unlike I've ever seen. My ex-wife's (financially well-off) parents spared no expenses in paying for her part of the divorce. My ex was bent on taking my children away from me. In my hearing for temporary orders, Ben absolutely embarrassed the opposing attorney. His courtroom demeanor is impeccable. His attention to detail is otherworldly. His ability to recognize and exploit inconsistencies in the testimonies of others is amazing. I ALWAYS felt like I was walking into the courtroom with a lawyer that was ready to fight for me and believed in me. He made so much of a fool out of my ex's attorney, that she fired and replaced hers on the spot immediately after the temporary orders hearing. After that, Ben guided me over the next 3 months leading up to a two day trial. In the meantime, he ensured that my rights were protected during a very peculiar/questionable 4 hour deposition that I was put through and he procured my home and my car for me in mediation. In the final hearing which was, again, a two day trial over custody and child support, Ben defended me against the testimonies of 5 different witnesses who attempted to paint a picture of me as an uninvolved father and corroborate my ex's story that I was a terrible husband who was both verbally and mentally abusive. I use the word "attempt" because Ben shredded every one of these witnesses' stories to pieces casting considerable doubt on the validity of all of their accusations. He frustrated them with his cross examination, even causing one of them to lash out in a fit of rage and another to turn beet red and sweat profusely. It was vindicating to see their stories crumble under Ben's scrutiny. In the end Ben got me, A MAN IN THE STATE OF TEXAS, PRIMARY CUSTODY of my children. He also saw that I was awarded decision making rights when it came to my children with his effective arguments he made to the judge. The level of persuasion this man can convey is unparalleled. Lastly, Ben is honest. He always told me the truth from the beginning, he always kept me up to date, and he never left me hanging through the entire process. He was efficient and fair with billing, which saved me money. I hugged this man, sobbing, outside of the courthouse because he pulled through in a way I never imagined. Ben OVER-DELIVERED in my case. I can't say enough good things about him. 2 YEAR UPDATE: My ex recently ended up taking me to the 3rd Court of Appeals, which I successfully beat without lifting a single finger thanks largely in part to a thorough and beautifully drafted Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law prepared by Ben two years ago. The appellate court ended up quoting this key document at length. Choosing Ben as my attorney over two years ago has continued to pay off. Money, time, and even effort has been greatly reduced thanks to the work that he put in those two years ago. Thank you again, Ben!

I give him 1000 stars!!!! Ben changed my life. He may not realize it, but because of him, my divorce went as smoothly as I could have ever imagined. I have 5 minor children, and I could never repay him for what he did to improve their lives forever! If you are like me, just reading through reviews of lawyers you have never heard of... scared, exhausted, and hoping to find someone that can work for what you really want and deserve, please read this!! I found Ben on a Google search for Austin lawyers, and read the reviews on him -- the reviews were amazing and seemed more genuine than the other lawyers I researched. I looked through his website and could see the passion he has for helping people through divorce, and helping them understand their situation and the reality of what is possible. I met with 4 other lawyers before talking to Ben, and it didn't seem like they could fully grasp some unique circumstances about my situation. I was also routed through people at the front desk of law firms, passed to not-the-main-lawyer, basically treated as a random guy getting a divorce. Ben was different. I emailed him about my situation, it was time-sensitive and he was out of town at a conference, but he responded immediately, late at night. He said that he would look into it for me. Early the next morning he had already corresponded with the opposing lawyer and gave me some advice on what to do. I had not even hired him yet, had a consultation or anything, and he was already working. Not only working, but the way he was able to ask me pointed questions and instantly grasp the nuances of my case, was beyond satisfying. I would explain things to him from my perspective, and he could perfectly communicate it to the other lawyer and add a force to it that I can only describe as making me feel heard and protected. From that moment, and for an entire year after that, my case took many twists and turns, and I felt that every second Ben was on top of it, handling everything perfectly. There were many times that I would suggest ideas, propose solutions, and try to guide things in a certain direction. He would always respond immediately, with thoughtful feedback and criticism where necessary. He told me tough things I needed to hear, but did it with compassion and always with a goal to help my children. I needed him to respond to me in the way he did, with clarity, force and confidence about the facts, the process, the system, just everything. My case did have to go to a trial for temporary orders, which was 4 hours in the courtroom, complete with being on the witness stand and everything. I will never be able to fully explain in writing what Ben was like in the courtroom -- but please understand -- he destroyed the other lawyer! I read that he was good in court, but when I saw him in front of the judge, I could not believe how effective he was!!! I didn't understand how important each specific lawyer's way of acting in the courtroom is, but they are all so different, and Ben is, by far, the best. Leading up to the trial, he rehearsed with me in person what he would ask me and what the other lawyer would ask me, and helped me communicate as clearly as possible. In the real trial, when he stood up to give his opening statement, it was so well prepared, so confident, so comprehensive, that it probably sealed the deal right then and there. It is a very intimidating environment to walk into a courtroom and know that your future is in the hands of a judge, but having someone as brilliant, articulate, aggressive, and compassionate as Ben completely put me at ease. He will not be out-prepared or out-performed by another lawyer! Oh, and after my trial, the opposing lawyer quit the case and withdrew himself!! Yes, Ben was that much better than him. Ben Carrasco went above and beyond in so many ways, and made my life and the lives of my children better than I could have hoped for when this all started. I will never forget what he did for me, and I hope he is able to do the same for you. Thank you Ben!!!!

Maybe you are in a situation where you need a legal understanding but are unsure of which law firm to contact. My interaction with the Silberman law group was completed by cellphone conference call with other people on the call. Our situation was related to a real estate - land contract. Your situation may be different and that’s okay.. The lawyer who I spoke with was knowledgeable and not intimidating. Because everyone’s legal needs are different, Silberman Law Firm there are various attorneys with different personalities and expertise. Although you can request a specific attorney, we did not and were very satisfied with the attorney who was assigned to our case and the legal feedback that we received.
